Wingman Metrics
Twenty wines on the list and every single one is available by the glass — that's either genius or a very short cellar program, and at Willie Rae's, it's a little of both. The list reads like a greatest-hits compilation of recognizable labels rather than a curated deep-dive, but the prices are honest and the range covers all the basics without breaking anyone's evening. This is a wine list built for the table that just wants something cold and drinkable, not a debate about terroir.
The reds lean California-heavy — Copper Ridge, Maggio, and Paso D'Oro hold down the familiar end, while the Barossa Valley Estate Shiraz and Sierra Batuco Malbec give the list a small international footprint. Whites follow the same formula: Canyon Road anchors the affordable tier, Whitehaven and Martin Codax Albariño bring a little credibility, and Sonoma-Cutrer is there for the Chardonnay loyalists. There are no real outliers, no skin-contact wines, no aged bottles, and no interesting off-the-beaten-path producers — this list was built around what moves fast in a casual dining room, not what excites. If you are hunting for discovery, you will leave a little flat; if you just want a solid glass with dinner, you are covered.
All 20 bottles pour by the glass, which is a genuinely user-friendly approach and removes any guesswork about what's available. The glass price range of $6 to $15 is reasonable for Marietta, and the Wycliff Brut at $6/glass is one of the more affordable sparkling options you will find anywhere. The by-the-glass program is essentially the whole list, so rotation and discovery are not really part of the equation here.
The Bottom Line
Willie Rae's is not trying to be a wine destination, and it does not pretend to be — what it offers is a fair, fuss-free list where every bottle pours by the glass and nothing will shock your credit card. Grab the Martin Codax Albariño or the Barossa Shiraz, skip the Oyster Bay upsell, and you will have a perfectly good time. If wine is secondary to your evening here, this list does its job without embarrassing anyone.

· Marietta · Italian
Gianni & Mac's has a focused, Italian-forward white wine list that punches above its weight in regional authenticity — the Frascati and Etna Bianco alone justify a closer look. The sparkling section is bloated and the markups get steep at the top end, but if you stick to the Italian whites you'll drink well without feeling robbed. Send a friend here for the food and tell them to ask about the Etna Bianco.

Mac's Raw Bar could have stocked the usual suspects — Kendall-Jackson, Santa Margherita, done — and nobody would have blinked. Instead they built a tight, seafood-smart list anchored by Muscadet, Albariño, and Chablis, with fair prices across the board. If you're eating oysters in Marietta, this is where you want to be drinking.

Marietta Square · Marietta · Mediterranean/Greek/Middle Eastern
Kiosco Marietta Square punches above its weight class with a genuinely global, all-by-the-glass wine list at prices that won't ruin your evening. The markup is fair across the board, the selection has enough range to reward curious drinkers, and the Colonia Las Liebres Bonarda alone is reason enough to skip the cocktail. It's not a destination wine program, but it's a solid, honest list for a neighborhood spot — and that counts for a lot.

LaStrada's wine list is honest about what it is: a low-friction, low-drama selection designed for guests who want a glass of something familiar with their pasta. The glass-to-bottle ratio is excellent, markups are fair across the board, and the Valpolicella is a quiet nod to Italian authenticity. Just don't arrive expecting the list to match the cuisine's ambitions — it's a reliable neighborhood companion, not a destination.

Spring Restaurant is running one of the most interesting wine programs in the Atlanta suburbs, and almost nobody outside of Marietta knows about it. The markup is fair, the by-the-glass selection is genuinely exciting, and the range of producers — from Galician Albariño to old-vine Catalan blends to Sonoma Coast Chardonnay — suggests someone in that building actually cares. If you're eating in Marietta and you care about what's in your glass, this is where you go.

Modena is the neighborhood Italian that actually earned the wine credentials to back up its ambitions — Jill Pipes is running a thoughtful program in a place that could have easily phoned it in. Show up on a Wednesday, order the Pieropan, and let someone else have the Silver Oak.

· Alpharetta · New American/Southern
The Cape is doing something genuinely unexpected for Alpharetta — a South African-anchored wine list with fair markups and a by-the-glass program that lets you actually explore it. The red selection is thin and the list won't impress anyone looking for depth, but for a beach bar concept with 21 glass pours and Sancerre at $15, we'd send a friend here without hesitation.

· Snellville · New American/Southern
Parkside at The Grove isn't trying to be a wine destination, and it doesn't pretend to be — but the list is fairly priced, almost entirely available by the glass, and covers enough ground to keep most tables happy. If you're in Snellville and want a solid pour without a headache, this works.

· Flowery Branch · New American/Southern
Antebellum is playing wine-list defense, not offense — the selections are safe, the sparkling section is the clear highlight, and pricing data is absent so we can't fully vouch for value. That said, 67 labels with producers like Gonet-Médéville and Stags' Leap in Flowery Branch, GA earns genuine respect. Worth a visit; just go in knowing what to order.
