Wingman Metrics
You're in Marietta, Georgia, and you open the wine list expecting Kendall-Jackson and a Malbec — instead you get Timorasso, Albariño from Rías Baixas, and a 2005 Catalan field blend that has no business being on a menu in the suburbs. This list has a point of view, and it's a good one. Someone here is paying attention.
Sixty labels spanning Burgundy, Bordeaux, the Piedmont, Galicia, Margaret River, the Loire, and natural-leaning producers you'd expect to find at a wine bar in Inman Park — not a New American spot in Cobb County. The by-the-glass program alone covers Timorasso from Piedmont (La Colombera 'Derthona'), orange wine from Lombardy (Castello di Stefanago 'Orangiosauro'), and an old-vine Venus la Universal Carinyena blend from 2005. The bottle list includes Domaine Tollot-Beaut Burgundy, Château Potensac, Ségla, and the Hirsch Vineyards Chardonnay from Sonoma Coast — a serious name at any price point. The gaps are minor: depth thins out beyond the highlights, and the list skews heavily toward single-varietal stars rather than a balanced cellar, but that's a quibble.
Fifteen pours by the glass is generous, and the curation is genuinely impressive — this isn't a list padded with Pinot Grigio and Meiomi. The program is split into Sparkling, White, Rosé & Orange, Red, and a 'Limited Reserve' tier that includes the Hirsch Chardonnay at $36/glass and the Ciacci Piccolomini 'Pianrosso' Brunello-adjacent bottling at $46/glass. Rotation cadence is unclear from the available data, but the variety of regions and styles here already beats most full bottle lists in the area.
The Bottom Line
Spring Restaurant is running one of the most interesting wine programs in the Atlanta suburbs, and almost nobody outside of Marietta knows about it. The markup is fair, the by-the-glass selection is genuinely exciting, and the range of producers — from Galician Albariño to old-vine Catalan blends to Sonoma Coast Chardonnay — suggests someone in that building actually cares. If you're eating in Marietta and you care about what's in your glass, this is where you go.

Mac's Chophouse is a reliable, well-run steakhouse wine program that does California Cabernet better than most places in the Atlanta suburbs — it's not trying to be a wine destination, but it earns its Wine Spectator nod and won't let you down if big red meat and big Napa reds are the plan.
