Legal
Terms of Service
Effective June 10, 2026
1. Who we are
Raging Wine (“Raging Wine,” “we,” “us”) operates ragingwine.com and the Raging Wine mobile app (together, the “Service”) — an opinionated guide to restaurant wine programs, with tools for scanning wine lists, logging wines, checking in at restaurants, and sharing your take.
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction (21+ in the United States) to use the Service. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You can delete your account at any time from the mobile app (Profile → Delete Account) or by emailing hello@ragingwine.com. Deletion permanently removes your profile, check-ins, scans, logs, comments, and reviews.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you submit — comments, reviews, photos, ratings, and observations (“User Content”). By submitting User Content you grant Raging Wine a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and adapt it for operating and promoting the Service, including incorporating reader review signal into our editorial coverage. This license ends for content you delete, except where it has already been incorporated into editorial work or is retained for legal or moderation purposes.
You agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, spam, or that infringes anyone’s rights. We may remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can report objectionable content and block users in the app; we review reports and act on violations within 24 hours.
5. Our content and opinions
Reviews, badges, scores, and recommendations are editorial opinions, offered for entertainment and information. Wine lists, prices, and availability change constantly — we don’t guarantee that anything on the Service (including AI-generated wine-list scans and recommendations) is accurate, current, or complete. Verify prices with the restaurant. Nothing on the Service is professional advice.
The Raging Wine name, logo, site design, editorial content, and databases are protected by intellectual-property laws. Don’t scrape, copy at scale, or republish them without written permission.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t abuse the Service: no unauthorized access, automated bulk scraping, rate-limit evasion, reverse engineering, interference with other users, or use of the Service to build a competing dataset. Scanner and AI features have usage limits; circumventing them is a violation of these terms.
7. Drink responsibly
The Service is about enjoying wine, not overdoing it. Never drink and drive. Nothing on the Service encourages excessive consumption.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Raging Wine will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
9. Changes and termination
We may update the Service and these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use means acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions? Email hello@ragingwine.com.
