Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Gianni & Mac's is small — 12 bottles, all white and sparkling — which tells you something about the kitchen's priorities. It's Italian-leaning and focused, which we respect, though the sparkling section is stacked with five labels that feel more like a champagne bar audition than a thoughtful Italian ristorante program. The whites are where the real interest lives.
At 12 labels and zero reds, this is a deliberately curated list rather than a comprehensive one — and it mostly holds together. The Italian anchor is real: Riva de la Rosa Frascati, Borgo Conventi Pinot Grigio, Antinori Vermentino, and the standout Etneide Etna Bianco give the list regional credibility. The Brewer-Clifton Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay and Stag's Leap Karia round out the domestic side without embarrassing themselves. The sparkling section — five bottles from Viarae Prosecco through Veuve Clicquot — reads less like curation and more like a wedding venue checklist. Half the list is bubbles, and while none are bad choices, it skews the balance hard.
The website page is titled 'wines by the glass,' but we only have bottle pricing confirmed in our data — by-the-glass availability and pour pricing remain unverified. If the full list pours by the glass, that's a genuine asset for a 12-bottle program. If it's bottle-only, the entry point at $39 is at least approachable.
The Bottom Line
Gianni & Mac's has a focused, Italian-forward white wine list that punches above its weight in regional authenticity — the Frascati and Etna Bianco alone justify a closer look. The sparkling section is bloated and the markups get steep at the top end, but if you stick to the Italian whites you'll drink well without feeling robbed. Send a friend here for the food and tell them to ask about the Etna Bianco.

Mac's Raw Bar could have stocked the usual suspects — Kendall-Jackson, Santa Margherita, done — and nobody would have blinked. Instead they built a tight, seafood-smart list anchored by Muscadet, Albariño, and Chablis, with fair prices across the board. If you're eating oysters in Marietta, this is where you want to be drinking.

Marietta Square · Marietta · Mediterranean/Greek/Middle Eastern
Kiosco Marietta Square punches above its weight class with a genuinely global, all-by-the-glass wine list at prices that won't ruin your evening. The markup is fair across the board, the selection has enough range to reward curious drinkers, and the Colonia Las Liebres Bonarda alone is reason enough to skip the cocktail. It's not a destination wine program, but it's a solid, honest list for a neighborhood spot — and that counts for a lot.

LaStrada's wine list is honest about what it is: a low-friction, low-drama selection designed for guests who want a glass of something familiar with their pasta. The glass-to-bottle ratio is excellent, markups are fair across the board, and the Valpolicella is a quiet nod to Italian authenticity. Just don't arrive expecting the list to match the cuisine's ambitions — it's a reliable neighborhood companion, not a destination.

Marietta · Marietta · New American/Southern
Spring Restaurant is running one of the most interesting wine programs in the Atlanta suburbs, and almost nobody outside of Marietta knows about it. The markup is fair, the by-the-glass selection is genuinely exciting, and the range of producers — from Galician Albariño to old-vine Catalan blends to Sonoma Coast Chardonnay — suggests someone in that building actually cares. If you're eating in Marietta and you care about what's in your glass, this is where you go.

Modena is the neighborhood Italian that actually earned the wine credentials to back up its ambitions — Jill Pipes is running a thoughtful program in a place that could have easily phoned it in. Show up on a Wednesday, order the Pieropan, and let someone else have the Silver Oak.

Mac's Chophouse is a reliable, well-run steakhouse wine program that does California Cabernet better than most places in the Atlanta suburbs — it's not trying to be a wine destination, but it earns its Wine Spectator nod and won't let you down if big red meat and big Napa reds are the plan.

Borgo Italia isn't a destination wine list, but it's a thoughtful one for what it is — a cozy neighborhood trattoria in Senoia with an Italian regional focus that respects the food on the plate. If you're here for the Lasagna or Saltimbocca alla Romana, there's likely something on that list to make dinner feel complete. We'd send a friend here for a good meal with an honest glass of wine, no hesitation.

Alpharetta · Alpharetta · Italian
Fiorenza's wine list punches above its weight for an Alpharetta Italian spot — the Italian focus is focused and honest, the by-the-glass program is genuinely broad, and the pricing stays mostly fair. If you're eating here, skip the safe Pinot Grigio and work your way through the more interesting Italian options the list quietly hides in plain sight.

Campania keeps it short and Italian, which we respect. The list won't win any awards for depth, but the Pelissero Nebbiolo and Borgo Tesis Sauvignon show genuine curation in a sea of predictable neighborhood lists. If you want a solid glass of wine with your pasta and you're not looking for a 10-page binder, this gets the job done.
