Wingman Metrics
A strip mall on Peachtree Road isn't where you expect to find a restaurant that put 'terroir' in its name and actually means it. Step inside and the warm redwood tones, contemporary art, and a genuinely inviting patio reset your expectations fast. The name isn't a gimmick — there's a sommelier on staff and a stated focus on Southern Rhône and Burgundy, two regions that reward curiosity.
The list leans Old World, anchoring around Southern Rhône and Burgundy — regions built on sense of place, which tracks with the restaurant's whole identity. We can't quote you every bottle right now since the full list isn't publicly parsed, but the regional focus signals intent: this isn't a list padded out with California brand names to keep the risk-averse comfortable. A sommelier on staff means someone is presumably curating rather than just copying last year's distributor order. Gaps and depth are hard to call without the full menu in hand, so treat the visit as an exploration rather than a treasure hunt with a map.
By-the-glass specifics aren't documented in what we've seen, which is the one frustration with Terra Terroir's digital presence — the menu lives behind a PDF link that doesn't surface details cleanly. What we do know is that half-price bottles on Sunday and Monday change the math considerably on the glass-versus-bottle decision.
Sunday and Monday — Half-price bottles of wine all night.
The Bottom Line
Terra Terroir is the kind of neighborhood spot that quietly over-delivers — a sommelier, a focused Old World list, and half-price bottles twice a week in a room that feels more Inman Park than Peachtree strip mall. We'd send a friend here on a Sunday without hesitation and tell them to ask the sommelier what they're excited about right now.

One Flew South is, without much competition, the best wine option inside a major American airport — and that's not entirely faint praise. The Argentina focus gives the list a point of view, the food is serious enough to warrant a real glass of wine, and the room actually makes you want to linger. Markups will be airport markups, so set your expectations accordingly and order the lamb ribs while you're at it.

Tuk Tuk is worth the trip for the Thai fried chicken and sticky wings — genuinely excellent food in a fun room. But if wine is your thing, you're better off leaning into their cocktail program, which is clearly where the care and attention lives. Come for the papaya salad; drink the cocktails.

Rock Steady keeps it simple and mostly gets it right — fair prices, every bottle available by the glass, and a few genuinely good producers mixed into a crowd-pleasing lineup. It's not a destination wine list, but it's a reliable one. If you're eating here, the Dr. Loosen at $15 is your move.

OK Yaki built a ten-bottle wine list that outpunches wine programs three times its size — every pick is intentional, the by-the-glass access is generous, and the pricing doesn't punish you for being curious. If you're eating here and defaulting to beer or sake, you're leaving the best part of the beverage program untouched.

Pasha is a genuinely fun night out — the atmosphere is lively, the food lands well, and the crowd is into it. But the wine program is operating in the background rather than earning its place on the table. Until there's a public list with real prices and identifiable producers, we'd recommend asking the server what's open and ordering a glass of whatever they're excited about — or just start with a cocktail and see where the night takes you.

Parkwoods is a dependable wine stop — nothing here will make you a convert, but nothing will embarrass you at a client dinner either. If you're already eating here for the fried chicken or the steaks, order the wine confidently; just don't expect the list to be the reason you came. The Backyard patio is genuinely nice, and a cold glass of something simple out there on a good Atlanta evening is its own reward.

The Blue Bicycle punches above its weight for a small-town bistro — fair prices, an unusually high BTG count, and a few genuine surprises like the Cheverny make it a solid wine stop in Dawsonville. If you're passing through and want a real glass of wine with dinner, this is your place.

If you're heading to Salt & Pepper Cafe, go for the food and order a cocktail. With four grocery-tier wines, no disclosed pricing, and no sign of a curated approach, the wine program exists in name only. This is a Lazy List — not necessarily the restaurant's fault if wine isn't the point, but it's not the place to drink well.

Riverstone Corner Bistro isn't trying to be a wine destination, but it's doing something quietly impressive: stocking a wine list with genuine range, pricing it fairly, and making nearly all of it available by the glass. For Canton, GA, that's not a small thing. If you're in the area and care even a little about what's in your glass, this is your spot.
