Wingman Metrics
The wine list at The Blue Bicycle covers a lot of ground for a bistro in Dawsonville — 28 labels, 20 of them available by the glass, with prices that won't make you wince. It's not trying to be a wine destination, but it's clearly trying, and that counts for something out here.
The list spans bubbles, whites, rosé, and reds without leaning too hard on any one region. You've got a Cheverny Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire sitting next to a Kuranui Marlborough SB and a Daou — that's more range than most strip-mall neighbors can claim. The red side leans California-heavy with Bogle, Hahn, Highway 12, and Cline Zinfandel doing the work, which is crowd-friendly if not exactly adventurous. The Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc/Viognier blend is a nice curveball that signals someone at least glanced beyond the obvious.
Twenty by-the-glass options on a 28-bottle list is a generous ratio — nearly everything is available as a pour, which makes this a great spot to taste around rather than commit to a bottle. Prices run $6 to $14 per glass, which is honest money for a Georgia bistro. No evidence of rotating glass selections or a structured BTG program, but the sheer volume of options is its own reward.
The Bottom Line
The Blue Bicycle punches above its weight for a small-town bistro — fair prices, an unusually high BTG count, and a few genuine surprises like the Cheverny make it a solid wine stop in Dawsonville. If you're passing through and want a real glass of wine with dinner, this is your place.

If you're heading to Salt & Pepper Cafe, go for the food and order a cocktail. With four grocery-tier wines, no disclosed pricing, and no sign of a curated approach, the wine program exists in name only. This is a Lazy List — not necessarily the restaurant's fault if wine isn't the point, but it's not the place to drink well.

Riverstone Corner Bistro isn't trying to be a wine destination, but it's doing something quietly impressive: stocking a wine list with genuine range, pricing it fairly, and making nearly all of it available by the glass. For Canton, GA, that's not a small thing. If you're in the area and care even a little about what's in your glass, this is your spot.

Brookwood Grill's wine list is a reliable, if uninspired, companion to a solid suburban dinner out. If you stick to the more interesting picks — the Hermit Crab Viognier, the Orin Swift, the Catena Malbec — you'll drink well enough. Just don't come here expecting discovery; come here expecting comfort.
