Wingman Metrics
Walking into One Flew South feels like finding a secret room behind the newsstand — the kind of place that makes you question everything you thought you knew about airport dining. The room is polished and intentional, with a menu that takes the food seriously enough to make you wonder if someone is doing the same for the wine. The answer is: sort of.
The wine program leans toward Argentina as a regional anchor, which actually makes sense given the Asian-inflected menu — Malbec and Torrontés have enough weight and aromatics to hold their own against salmon rolls and lamb ribs. Beyond that regional thread, our sourcing on the full list is limited, so we can't map out every bottle on the shelf. What we can say is that the selection appears curated rather than expansive — this is not a deep cellar situation, but it reads like someone gave it more than five minutes of thought, which is more than you can say for 90% of airport wine programs.
By-the-glass specifics weren't available to us at time of review, so we can't tell you how many pours are on offer or what's rotating. Given the menu price range and the general upscale-casual positioning, expect a short but reasonable pour list. Ask your server what's open — in a program this size, freshness of an open bottle matters.
The Bottom Line
One Flew South is, without much competition, the best wine option inside a major American airport — and that's not entirely faint praise. The Argentina focus gives the list a point of view, the food is serious enough to warrant a real glass of wine, and the room actually makes you want to linger. Markups will be airport markups, so set your expectations accordingly and order the lamb ribs while you're at it.

Tuk Tuk is worth the trip for the Thai fried chicken and sticky wings — genuinely excellent food in a fun room. But if wine is your thing, you're better off leaning into their cocktail program, which is clearly where the care and attention lives. Come for the papaya salad; drink the cocktails.

Rock Steady keeps it simple and mostly gets it right — fair prices, every bottle available by the glass, and a few genuinely good producers mixed into a crowd-pleasing lineup. It's not a destination wine list, but it's a reliable one. If you're eating here, the Dr. Loosen at $15 is your move.

OK Yaki built a ten-bottle wine list that outpunches wine programs three times its size — every pick is intentional, the by-the-glass access is generous, and the pricing doesn't punish you for being curious. If you're eating here and defaulting to beer or sake, you're leaving the best part of the beverage program untouched.

Pasha is a genuinely fun night out — the atmosphere is lively, the food lands well, and the crowd is into it. But the wine program is operating in the background rather than earning its place on the table. Until there's a public list with real prices and identifiable producers, we'd recommend asking the server what's open and ordering a glass of whatever they're excited about — or just start with a cocktail and see where the night takes you.

Parkwoods is a dependable wine stop — nothing here will make you a convert, but nothing will embarrass you at a client dinner either. If you're already eating here for the fried chicken or the steaks, order the wine confidently; just don't expect the list to be the reason you came. The Backyard patio is genuinely nice, and a cold glass of something simple out there on a good Atlanta evening is its own reward.

Phillips Seafood isn't trying to be a wine destination, and the list makes that crystal clear. The pricing is fair enough that you won't feel robbed, and the by-the-glass selection is broad enough to find something drinkable — but the list reads like it was assembled by committee using the most recognizable labels available. Grab the Mer Soleil with your crab, skip the Whispering Angel markup, and temper your expectations accordingly.

TENKU's wine list is the definition of reliable — it's not trying to be a wine destination, but it's making a real effort for a suburban sushi spot. The by-the-glass selection gives you enough to work with, the rosé options are a smart call for the food, and the glass pricing is fair. Just steer clear of the big Cabernet bottles if you're watching your wallet, and don't expect the list to surprise you.

Takumi is quietly doing something interesting with its wine program — thoughtful producers, fair prices, and nearly everything available by the glass. If you're eating ramen in Decatur and want to drink a Gamay or an orange Pinot Gris instead of a mass-market sake bomb, this is your spot. Don't sleep on it.

Snap Thai Fish House has no business having a wine list this size — and yet here it is, doing something genuinely useful by loading up on crisp whites that actually work with spicy, aromatic Thai food. The markups are steep across the board, so target the Riesling and the Jermann and let your wallet breathe a little. If you're eating Thai and want wine instead of beer, this is a far better situation than you'd find at most comparable spots in Atlanta.
