Pasha looks the part — warm lighting, a buzzy patio, and a crowd that clearly came to have a good time. The wine list, from what we can gather, leans toward Italy and France, which makes sense alongside lamb chops and octopus. But the specifics of what's actually in the glass remain surprisingly hard to pin down.
The regional focus on Italy and France is a reasonable call for a Mediterranean menu — think approachable reds and whites that can hold their own against bold spices and grilled proteins. That said, without a public-facing wine list, it's hard to know whether the selection goes deep or just grazes the surface with crowd-pleasing labels. For a Buckhead-area restaurant with entrees running $20–$40, the wine program should be doing more heavy lifting. We'd love to see some Greek producers make an appearance given the cuisine — Assyrtiko, Xinomavro, something with a sense of place — but there's no evidence of that ambition here.
Glass pour options are unknown, and that's a problem in itself — a restaurant operating in this price range should have its by-the-glass list visible and updated. If you're stopping in for drinks before dinner, you're likely working from a short verbal list or whatever the bar is pouring that night. Go in with low expectations and you might be pleasantly surprised; go in expecting curation and you probably won't be.
The Bottom Line
Pasha is a genuinely fun night out — the atmosphere is lively, the food lands well, and the crowd is into it. But the wine program is operating in the background rather than earning its place on the table. Until there's a public list with real prices and identifiable producers, we'd recommend asking the server what's open and ordering a glass of whatever they're excited about — or just start with a cocktail and see where the night takes you.
Dunwoody · Atlanta · New American/Southern
Parkwoods is a dependable wine stop — nothing here will make you a convert, but nothing will embarrass you at a client dinner either. If you're already eating here for the fried chicken or the steaks, order the wine confidently; just don't expect the list to be the reason you came. The Backyard patio is genuinely nice, and a cold glass of something simple out there on a good Atlanta evening is its own reward.

Phillips Seafood isn't trying to be a wine destination, and the list makes that crystal clear. The pricing is fair enough that you won't feel robbed, and the by-the-glass selection is broad enough to find something drinkable — but the list reads like it was assembled by committee using the most recognizable labels available. Grab the Mer Soleil with your crab, skip the Whispering Angel markup, and temper your expectations accordingly.

Midtown · Atlanta · New American/Southern
Midtown Social is a bar with a wine list, not a wine bar with a kitchen — and the list makes that hierarchy clear. Pricing is fair relative to what's poured, and the $5 house glass program gives it a pulse, but this is the kind of list you drink from because it's there, not because it brought you in. If wine is why you're going out tonight, this isn't your spot.

The Family Dog prices its wine reasonably, and credit where it's due — $8–$9 a glass is honest money. But five unnamed, producer-free varietals is not a wine program; it's an afterthought. If you're here for the pub experience, lean into a beer and come back to wine somewhere that actually cares.

Edgar's Proof & Provision isn't trying to be a wine destination and it doesn't pretend to be — the list is short, familiar, and priced fairly for what it is. If you're here with a group that can't agree on anything, the fact that every bottle is available by the glass saves the night. Send a friend here for beer or cocktails; if they end up with a Felino Malbec or a Sea Sun Pinot Noir, they won't be unhappy.

Vinings · Atlanta · Gastropub/Tavern
Meehan's Vinings is a pub that happens to have wine on the menu, and the wine program reflects exactly that level of ambition. Pricing is fair and the by-the-glass selection covers the bases, but there's no depth, no discovery, and no sign that anyone thought hard about this list. Order a beer or a whiskey — that's what this place does well.

Efendi's wine list is a competent, fair-priced selection that plays it safe with California heavyweights while quietly sneaking in a few Turkish bottles that are the most compelling things on the menu. If you're here, do yourself a favor and skip the Prisoner, grab the Kavaklidere Yakut, and let the kitchen do what it does. It's not a destination wine list, but it won't let you down either.

Persian Basket has put together a wine list that respects both its guests and its cuisine — fair pricing, real producers, and a by-the-glass selection that gives you options beyond the obvious. It's not a destination wine list, but it's the kind of list that makes a neighborhood restaurant genuinely better. If you're heading there for food, the wine won't let you down.

Zafron isn't trying to be a wine destination, and that's fine — the list exists to support the food, not steal the spotlight. Markups are fair, every bottle pours by the glass, and there are a few genuinely solid picks if you know where to look. Send a friend here for the Persian food and tell them to order the Allegrini.
