Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Suite 200 Grille is compact — 24 labels — but it doesn't feel lazy. Prices are stacked clearly, glass pours are widely available, and the range spans California stalwarts to Italian reds that have no business showing up in a Milton strip mall. That's a good sign.
The list leans California-heavy, with Wente making a full extended-family appearance across multiple bottlings — Cab, Merlot, Chardonnay, and a red blend. That's a lot of eggs in one producer's basket, but Wente is dependable and the pricing holds. The Italian corner is where things get interesting: a Pertinace Barolo at $80/bottle, a Volpaia Citto Super Tuscan, and a Monsanto Chianti give the list some Old World backbone that most neighborhood grilles skip entirely. Oregon shows up too with Willamette Valley Vineyards and Elouan, and New Zealand gets a seat with Loveblock's Sauvignon Blanc. The gaps are real — no Champagne or sparkling of note, no skin-contact wines, nothing from South America — but for the format, this is a more considered list than the setting might suggest.
Twenty-two of the 24 labels are available by the glass, which is nearly the whole list — a genuine win for solo diners or tables that want to range across varieties. Glass prices run $12–$16, which is fair for suburban Atlanta. The two bottle-only selections — the Pertinace Barolo and the Volpaia Citto Super Tuscan — are the right calls to hold back; those deserve a full table commitment anyway.
The Bottom Line
Suite 200 Grille is doing more with 24 labels than most restaurants do with twice that. Fair glass prices, a Barolo on the menu, and an Italian selection that earns its keep — this is the kind of neighborhood spot you should actually bring wine-curious friends to. It won't blow your mind, but it won't embarrass you either.

7 Acre BarnGrill isn't trying to be a wine destination, and that's fine — what it offers is a thoughtful-enough list with fair prices and enough variety to keep most tables happy. The Patz & Hall, Greenwing, and Trimbach picks show someone made real choices here rather than just calling a distributor rep. Send a friend if they want a decent glass with dinner in Milton; just don't send them expecting to discover something they've never seen before.

L'Antoinette is doing something genuinely surprising in Milton — a Bordeaux-focused wine list with real producers, fair bottle prices, and enough by-the-glass options to make a solo diner feel taken care of. We'd send a friend here specifically for the wine, and that's not something we say about many suburban French spots.

The Union's wine list is honest, fairly priced, and refreshingly complete on the by-the-glass front — every bottle available by the pour is a genuine convenience. It won't win any awards for depth or discovery, but the Rioja Crianza and Nebbiolo give adventurous drinkers somewhere to land. Send a friend here knowing the wine won't embarrass them or their wallet.

Confab's all-by-the-glass format is genuinely smart and removes the usual friction of wine list navigation. The pricing is fair across the board and the white and sparkling selections show real range — just don't come in expecting a serious red wine moment. If you're here for a couple of glasses with dinner, you'll leave happy.

Appalachian Grill's wine list won't win any awards, but it's a thoughtful little collection for a town where the alternative is usually whatever's in the gas station cooler. If you're in Cartersville and want a solid glass of wine with your dinner, this list won't let you down — just don't arrive expecting a deep cellar.

Eighteen70's wine list is a placeholder, not a program. It checks the box — there's wine, it's recognizable, nobody will send it back — but it shows zero ambition and almost certainly charges steep markups on bottles you've seen a hundred times. Stick to cocktails or beer unless someone at the table just needs a glass of something familiar.
