Wingman Metrics
Thirteen bottles. That's the whole wine program at Appalachian Grill in Cartersville, and honestly, for a Southern comfort spot in a small Georgia city, it's not an embarrassment. The list reads like someone made sensible, crowd-friendly picks without overthinking it — which is both its strength and its ceiling.
The list leans heavily on recognizable names from reliable regions: Cloudline and Lapis Luna cover the Pinot Noir bases from Oregon and California respectively, Felino brings a solid Mendoza Malbec to the table, and Conundrum's Red Blend is the kind of approachable wildcard that keeps everyone at the table happy. On the white side, you get Bex Riesling from the Mosel, Matua Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, Villa Sandi Pinot Grigio from the Veneto, and two Chardonnays — Freelander and Columbia Winery — to cover the unoaked-to-oaked spectrum. The Vietti Moscato d'Asti is a nice touch, a genuinely good producer in a category most restaurants treat as an afterthought. There are no real surprises here — no grower Champagne, no skin-contact wines, no deep-cut Rhône — but the selections are competent and the geographic spread is broader than you'd expect from a 13-bottle list.
By-the-glass options aren't detailed in available sources, so we can't confirm what's pouring by the stem versus bottle only. Given the size of the list, it's reasonable to expect a handful of pours available by the glass, but don't count on it until you ask your server.
The Bottom Line
Appalachian Grill's wine list won't win any awards, but it's a thoughtful little collection for a town where the alternative is usually whatever's in the gas station cooler. If you're in Cartersville and want a solid glass of wine with your dinner, this list won't let you down — just don't arrive expecting a deep cellar.

Eighteen70's wine list is a placeholder, not a program. It checks the box — there's wine, it's recognizable, nobody will send it back — but it shows zero ambition and almost certainly charges steep markups on bottles you've seen a hundred times. Stick to cocktails or beer unless someone at the table just needs a glass of something familiar.

Garden & Gun Club's wine list is exactly what it wants to be: accessible, fairly priced, and loaded with names people recognize. It won't challenge anyone, but it won't embarrass anyone either — and with 16 options by the glass, it's a legitimately good list for a group with mixed tastes. Send a friend here who wants to drink well without doing homework.

Last Dance is the kind of place wine-curious eaters should get excited about — a genuinely creative kitchen in an unpretentious room, with a wine program that at least tries to match the energy. We can't give you specific bottle recommendations until we get a full list in hand, but the regional range alone puts it ahead of most spots at this price point. Go for the liver éclair and the numbing okra, order something from Austria or Argentina, and let the room do its thing. We'll be back with more specifics once the list is fully sourced.
