Wingman Metrics
A 69-bottle French restaurant wine list in Milton, GA is already unexpected — and when you start reading, the Bordeaux section alone earns some serious respect. This isn't a list assembled by someone who called a distributor and said 'give me whatever's popular.' There's actual intention here, and it shows.
The list leans hard into Left Bank Bordeaux, and we mean that as a compliment: Chasse-Spleen, La Dame de Montrose, Chateau Meyney, Chateau Carbonnieux, Pichon Comtesse Reserve, and Brane-Cantenac are all present, spanning appellations from Moulis to Pauillac to Pessac-Leognan. Loire whites get their moment too — the Genetin Pouilly-Fumé and two Henri Bourgois Sancerre bottlings (the 2024 and the ES-56 2023) give white wine drinkers a reason to be excited. California shows up with the Schrader Cellars Double Diamond and Groth Oakville Cabernet, adding some New World backbone to what is otherwise a very Old World conversation. The gaps are real — Burgundy proper is light, there's no obvious Champagne or sparkling selection visible in the extracted rows, and Rhône fans may feel left out.
Nineteen by-the-glass options is a generous pour program for a restaurant of this size, ranging from $14 to $25 per glass. The Chasse-Spleen Moulis-en-Médoc 2022 at $18/glass and the Chateau Mongravey Margaux 2022 at $16/glass are the standouts — serious Bordeaux crus available by the glass is not something you see every day outside of a wine bar. The Domaine de Marci Touraine Sauvignon Blanc at $15/glass rounds out the white side nicely.
The Bottom Line
L'Antoinette is doing something genuinely surprising in Milton — a Bordeaux-focused wine list with real producers, fair bottle prices, and enough by-the-glass options to make a solo diner feel taken care of. We'd send a friend here specifically for the wine, and that's not something we say about many suburban French spots.

F & B earns its keep as a reliable by-the-glass destination — 46 pours by the glass is a legitimately useful feature, and there are smart picks buried in a list that otherwise feels like it was curated for people who only want to order what they already know. Markups run steep, especially at the top end, and the French restaurant identity isn't really reflected in the wine list. If you're eating here, go for the Chablis or the Scharffenberger, skip the Bordeaux splurge, and enjoy the flexibility.

Pascal's Bistro earns its keep as a reliable neighborhood wine stop — nothing flashy, but the regional range is appropriate and the Wednesday $6 wine promotion is the kind of deal that quietly makes a restaurant a regular habit. We'd send a friend here for a midweek dinner without hesitation, and encourage them to call ahead and ask what's pouring by the glass that night.
