Wingman Metrics
Ten bottles. That's the wine list at Meehan's Vinings — a round number that tells you everything you need to know about how seriously wine is taken here. This is a pub first, a food spot second, and a wine destination somewhere around never. To their credit, at least they're not pretending otherwise.
The list reads like a grocery store endcap that someone thought was curated: Carmel Road Cab, Oyster Bay Merlot, Barone Fini Pinot Grigio — all recognizable, none exciting. There's a California bias throughout, which makes sense for a crowd that wants something familiar and approachable. The one moment of mild interest is The Predator Old Vine Zinfandel, which at least has some personality compared to the rest of the lineup. Don't come here looking for anything Old World, anything natural, or anything that requires explanation.
Nine of the ten bottles are available by the glass, which is genuinely generous and probably the smartest thing about this wine program. Glass pours run $9–$12, with most options sitting at $10 — accessible pricing for a pub setting. Rotation appears non-existent; this list looks like it hasn't changed since the menu was printed.
The Bottom Line
Meehan's Vinings is a pub that happens to have wine on the menu, and the wine program reflects exactly that level of ambition. Pricing is fair and the by-the-glass selection covers the bases, but there's no depth, no discovery, and no sign that anyone thought hard about this list. Order a beer or a whiskey — that's what this place does well.

Snap Thai Fish House has no business having a wine list this size — and yet here it is, doing something genuinely useful by loading up on crisp whites that actually work with spicy, aromatic Thai food. The markups are steep across the board, so target the Riesling and the Jermann and let your wallet breathe a little. If you're eating Thai and want wine instead of beer, this is a far better situation than you'd find at most comparable spots in Atlanta.

Industry Tavern is a fine place to have a beer. The wine list, at just twelve labels, all reliable and none remarkable, signals that wine is not this kitchen's conversation partner. If you're eating here and want a glass, the Benton Lane Pinot Noir or the Vinho Verde are the most defensible choices — but we wouldn't make a trip here for the list.

Buckhead · Atlanta · New American/Southern
The Chastain runs a small, sharp wine list that most people in Atlanta haven't given enough credit to — it earns a Wild Card badge because finding Lopez Heredia and Pax Mahle Chenin Blanc on the same menu as Damilano Barolo at a New American spot in Buckhead is genuinely unexpected. If you're eating here, skip the obvious bottle and let the list surprise you.

Confab's all-by-the-glass format is genuinely smart and removes the usual friction of wine list navigation. The pricing is fair across the board and the white and sparkling selections show real range — just don't come in expecting a serious red wine moment. If you're here for a couple of glasses with dinner, you'll leave happy.

Dresden · Atlanta · Gastropub/Tavern
Dresden Tavern isn't trying to be a wine destination, and that's fine — it's a neighborhood tavern doing neighborhood tavern things. The list is familiar, prices are fair for the format, and having the entire program available by the glass is genuinely useful. If you're here for a burger and a glass of something decent, the Domaine Bousquet Malbec or White Haven Sauv Blanc will take care of you without drama.

Piedmont Park · Atlanta · Gastropub/Tavern
The Nook is a perfectly decent place to have a beer or a Ketel One sangria while watching the park — and honestly, that might be the move. The wine list is a collection of familiar labels marked up well past their worth, with no evidence of rotation, staff expertise, or curatorial effort. If wine is your priority tonight, keep walking.

· Woodstock · Gastropub/Tavern
Century House Tavern is a genuinely appealing spot — good food, great vibe, solid casual-upscale energy for Woodstock. The wine program, though, remains a bit of a mystery to us. We'd head here for the shrimp and grits and the garden patio without hesitation, but we'd need a lot more sourced detail on the wine list before we could send you here specifically for the bottle.

· Roswell · Gastropub/Tavern
Westfield Tavern's wine list is exactly what a good neighborhood gastropub wine list should be — accessible, fairly priced, and heavy on by-the-glass options so you're never stuck ordering a full bottle of something mediocre. It won't dazzle anyone looking for discovery, but if you're in Roswell and want a solid pour of R. Stuart Pinot without getting gouged, this place earns the trip.

· Alpharetta · Gastropub/Tavern
Taffer's Tavern Alpharetta isn't trying to impress wine people, and that's fine — it's a gastropub with a crowd-pleasing list built for guests who want a bottle they already know. If you're with a table full of Caymus fans, everyone goes home happy. If you're hoping for something interesting or fairly priced, the Greywacke is your best play and then let it go.
