Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Westfield Tavern is compact and unpretentious — 21 labels that know exactly what they are and don't try to be anything more. It's a gastropub list built for people who want a decent glass with their burger, not a debate about terroir. What it lacks in adventure it mostly makes up for in price.
The list leans heavily on California and Italian stalwarts, with a predictable lineup of Chardonnays, Cabernets, and Pinot Grigios doing most of the heavy lifting. There's a solid nod to sparkling with Freixenet Prosecco, G.H. Mumm Champagne, and the Los Monteros Cava Rosé rounding out the bubbles corner. Pinot Noir gets a bit more attention than you'd expect at a place like this — both a Liesl and an R. Stuart make the cut, which shows at least someone thought about the list past "red and white." Gaps are real though: no Old World reds to speak of, zero Riesling, no Malbec or Tempranillo, and the rosé selection is limited to approachable crowd-pleasers.
Seventeen of the 21 labels are available by the glass, which is genuinely impressive for a place this size and earns real points. Prices run $8–$15/glass, keeping the entry point low enough that you can explore without committing to a bottle. The Austin Hope Cabernet and Bravium Chardonnay are bottle-only — a mild frustration when those are arguably the two most interesting picks on the list.
The Bottom Line
Westfield Tavern's wine list is exactly what a good neighborhood gastropub wine list should be — accessible, fairly priced, and heavy on by-the-glass options so you're never stuck ordering a full bottle of something mediocre. It won't dazzle anyone looking for discovery, but if you're in Roswell and want a solid pour of R. Stuart Pinot without getting gouged, this place earns the trip.

American Pasta isn't trying to be a wine destination, and the list proves it. At $26 a bottle the pricing won't hurt you, but there's simply not enough information — no producers, no vintages, no effort — to make a confident recommendation on any pour. Order the pasta, drink the water, and save the wine night for somewhere else.

BEY's wine list is small, a little steep on markups, and light on variety — but the Ksara presence saves it from being just another afterthought wine list at a casual Mediterranean spot. If you're eating here, drink Lebanese: the Réserve du Couvent or the Blanc de Blancs will make the meal feel intentional in a way the Bonanza Cab simply won't.

North End Kitchen & Bar is a reliable neighborhood wine program that delivers exactly what it promises: recognizable bottles, nearly everything available by the glass, and zero risk of ordering something weird. The markups run steep across the board, and the list plays it entirely safe with zero Old World representation. Send your friends here if they want comfort — just nudge them toward the Benton-Lane and away from the Caymus.

The Gaslight is a reliable neighborhood wine program in a fine dining wrapper — fair prices, solid by-the-glass breadth, and a few quiet bright spots if you know where to look. It won't win any awards for discovery, but you're not going to get burned either. Order the Riesling, ask about the Cremant, and enjoy your evening.

Truth Be Told has built a tight, smart by-the-glass program that most restaurants in this zip code wouldn't dare attempt — two Sancerres, a Lagrein, and Aix Rosé at honest prices is not an accident. We don't know enough about the service or the food to give this a full endorsement, but if you're in Roswell and you want a real glass of wine without a bottle commitment, this list deserves your attention.

Amalfi is clearly a place people love for the food, the warmth, and the owner-led hospitality — and the wine list seems to know its supporting role. We don't have enough sourced detail on the wine program to make specific recommendations, so go in with reasonable expectations: solid Italian pours at fair prices, nothing adventurous. If the kitchen is this focused on the south Italian coast, we'd push whoever's working the floor toward something white and coastal to go with the Linguine alla Pescatora — and hope they can point you in the right direction.

The Nook is a perfectly decent place to have a beer or a Ketel One sangria while watching the park — and honestly, that might be the move. The wine list is a collection of familiar labels marked up well past their worth, with no evidence of rotation, staff expertise, or curatorial effort. If wine is your priority tonight, keep walking.

Taffer's Tavern Alpharetta isn't trying to impress wine people, and that's fine — it's a gastropub with a crowd-pleasing list built for guests who want a bottle they already know. If you're with a table full of Caymus fans, everyone goes home happy. If you're hoping for something interesting or fairly priced, the Greywacke is your best play and then let it go.

Bernie's isn't trying to be a wine destination, and it doesn't need to be — what it does is offer a clean, fairly priced list where the Dr. Loosen Riesling alone is worth the stop. If you're in Kennesaw and want a decent glass without paying downtown Atlanta markups, this does the job honestly.
