Wingman Metrics
Four wines. That's the whole list. If you came to Green Coyote Cantina hoping to explore something interesting in your glass, adjust expectations quickly — the wine program here is essentially an afterthought tacked onto what is clearly a food-first (or cocktail-first) operation. The prices are modest, which is the only real thing the list has going for it.
Two house pours, one recognizable grocery store staple, and one entry-level Italian Pinot Grigio — that's the full picture. There's no regional exploration here, no nod to Spanish or Latin wine traditions that might actually complement the cuisine, and zero ambition beyond checking the 'we have wine' box. Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc is perfectly drinkable but it's the kind of wine you can grab at any supermarket on the way over. The house Chardonnay and Cabernet remain mystery bottles with no producer transparency whatsoever.
All four wines are poured by the glass, ranging from $6 to $11, so at least the entire list is accessible without committing to a bottle. The spread covers the basic white-red-crisp-creamy bases, but there's no rotation, no seasonal thinking, and no real by-the-glass program to speak of — just four options that have clearly been sitting on the same menu for a while.
The Bottom Line
Green Coyote Cantina is not a wine destination, and it doesn't pretend to be — but four labels with no connection to the cuisine and zero program effort earns a Lazy List. If you're here, drink the margaritas and don't overthink the wine section.

· Marietta · Steakhouse
Cherokee Chophouse is the kind of place where the food is clearly the star and the wine list is built to support it without getting in the way. If you're coming for the prime rib or a celebratory steak dinner, you'll find something drinkable — just don't expect the wine list to wow you the way the menu might. We'd recommend doing some homework on specific bottles before you arrive, and don't be shy about asking the staff what's drinking well right now.

Willie Rae's is not trying to be a wine destination, and it does not pretend to be — what it offers is a fair, fuss-free list where every bottle pours by the glass and nothing will shock your credit card. Grab the Martin Codax Albariño or the Barossa Shiraz, skip the Oyster Bay upsell, and you will have a perfectly good time. If wine is secondary to your evening here, this list does its job without embarrassing anyone.

Gianni & Mac's has a focused, Italian-forward white wine list that punches above its weight in regional authenticity — the Frascati and Etna Bianco alone justify a closer look. The sparkling section is bloated and the markups get steep at the top end, but if you stick to the Italian whites you'll drink well without feeling robbed. Send a friend here for the food and tell them to ask about the Etna Bianco.

Mac's Raw Bar could have stocked the usual suspects — Kendall-Jackson, Santa Margherita, done — and nobody would have blinked. Instead they built a tight, seafood-smart list anchored by Muscadet, Albariño, and Chablis, with fair prices across the board. If you're eating oysters in Marietta, this is where you want to be drinking.

Marietta Square · Marietta · Mediterranean/Greek/Middle Eastern
Kiosco Marietta Square punches above its weight class with a genuinely global, all-by-the-glass wine list at prices that won't ruin your evening. The markup is fair across the board, the selection has enough range to reward curious drinkers, and the Colonia Las Liebres Bonarda alone is reason enough to skip the cocktail. It's not a destination wine program, but it's a solid, honest list for a neighborhood spot — and that counts for a lot.

LaStrada's wine list is honest about what it is: a low-friction, low-drama selection designed for guests who want a glass of something familiar with their pasta. The glass-to-bottle ratio is excellent, markups are fair across the board, and the Valpolicella is a quiet nod to Italian authenticity. Just don't arrive expecting the list to match the cuisine's ambitions — it's a reliable neighborhood companion, not a destination.

This wine list is a placeholder, not a program. Seven generic varietal names with no producers, no pricing transparency, and no connection to the Spanish and Latin food being served tells you everything you need to know about how much thought went into it. If you're coming to Esco Marietta, come for the tapas — and maybe order a cocktail.

Jimmy's Tequila and Carnes is not a wine destination, and it doesn't pretend to be — the name tells you exactly where the priorities lie. The pricing is fair enough that ordering a glass won't sting, and the Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling or Stoneleigh Sauv Blanc can hold their own against a meal. But if wine matters to you tonight, this list won't excite you — stick to whatever's in the agave section.

Rock Steady keeps it simple and mostly gets it right — fair prices, every bottle available by the glass, and a few genuinely good producers mixed into a crowd-pleasing lineup. It's not a destination wine list, but it's a reliable one. If you're eating here, the Dr. Loosen at $15 is your move.
