Wingman Metrics
The wine list at North End Kitchen & Bar reads like a greatest hits album from the mid-2010s: Caymus, Decoy, Belle Glos, Josh Cellars. These are names your dinner guests will recognize and probably already like, which is exactly the point. There's no attempt to surprise you — this is a list built for comfort, not discovery.
All 34 labels lean heavily on California and the Pacific Northwest, with a token nod to Mendoza via the Gascon Malbec. The Pinot Noir selection is actually the most interesting corner of the list — Benton-Lane from Willamette, Belle Glos Clark & Telephone from Santa Maria, and Boen California give you three distinct takes on the grape at different price points. The Chardonnay side is stacked with names like William Hill, Bonanza, and Raeburn Russian River, which is fine, but four Chardonnays that all share the same California-crowd-pleaser DNA starts to feel redundant. If you're hunting for anything from the Old World, Spain, Italy, France, or otherwise, you will not find it here.
The by-the-glass program is remarkably generous in scope — nearly every bottle on the list is available by the glass, which is a real commitment. Prices run $9 to $29 per glass, and the spread tracks almost exactly with the bottle pricing at a consistent markup rather than a flat fee. The breadth is appreciated, but don't expect the list to rotate or surprise you season to season.
The Bottom Line
North End Kitchen & Bar is a reliable neighborhood wine program that delivers exactly what it promises: recognizable bottles, nearly everything available by the glass, and zero risk of ordering something weird. The markups run steep across the board, and the list plays it entirely safe with zero Old World representation. Send your friends here if they want comfort — just nudge them toward the Benton-Lane and away from the Caymus.

· Roswell · Fine Dining
The Gaslight is a reliable neighborhood wine program in a fine dining wrapper — fair prices, solid by-the-glass breadth, and a few quiet bright spots if you know where to look. It won't win any awards for discovery, but you're not going to get burned either. Order the Riesling, ask about the Cremant, and enjoy your evening.

Truth Be Told has built a tight, smart by-the-glass program that most restaurants in this zip code wouldn't dare attempt — two Sancerres, a Lagrein, and Aix Rosé at honest prices is not an accident. We don't know enough about the service or the food to give this a full endorsement, but if you're in Roswell and you want a real glass of wine without a bottle commitment, this list deserves your attention.

Amalfi is clearly a place people love for the food, the warmth, and the owner-led hospitality — and the wine list seems to know its supporting role. We don't have enough sourced detail on the wine program to make specific recommendations, so go in with reasonable expectations: solid Italian pours at fair prices, nothing adventurous. If the kitchen is this focused on the south Italian coast, we'd push whoever's working the floor toward something white and coastal to go with the Linguine alla Pescatora — and hope they can point you in the right direction.

Zest isn't trying to win any wine awards, and that's fine — the list is priced reasonably, pours freely by the glass, and covers the white-wine territory that makes the most sense with the food. If you're looking for a natural wine deep-dive or anything beyond California standards, you're at the wrong spot. But for a breezy Canton Street dinner, Kung Fu Girl Riesling in hand, you'll leave happy.

Downtown Roswell · Roswell · American
Canton St. Social is a solid neighborhood restaurant in historic downtown Roswell, and the wine program appears to be built for exactly that — supporting a good night out without overcomplicating things. We don't have enough sourced wine data to tell you what to order, which means your best move is to ask your server what's pouring well that night and go from there. Worth a visit for the food and atmosphere; the wine list is a work in progress as far as our research goes.

The Big Ketch Roswell keeps the wine program tightly scoped and mostly on-point for a seafood house — fair prices, smart regional picks, and a by-the-glass setup that rewards curious drinkers. It's not going to blow anyone away, but it's not going to embarrass you either. Send a friend here for the Vinho Verde and whatever's fresh on the menu.

Kindred is punching above its weight class with a white and sparkling program that most full-service wine bars would envy, all at prices that won't make you wince when the check arrives. The red selection is the weak link, but if you lean white, rosé, or bubbly — and many of us should — this list is worth your attention. Send your friends here and tell them to start with the Vermentino.

Restaurant 356 is a quietly confident wine list that earns more respect the longer you look at it. The Alsatian whites and German reds alone make it worth a visit for anyone tired of the same 10 bottles that show up everywhere in Atlanta. We'd send a friend here specifically to drink the Carl Ehrhard Spätburgunder and feel smug about it.

5Church Midtown is a reliable wine stop for Midtown Atlanta — not adventurous, but not embarrassing. The Champagne selection punches above its weight for a restaurant program, and the 17-glass lineup gives you plenty to work with. Markups trend steep across the board, so stay smart with the bottle selections and you'll drink well enough. Send a friend here for bubbles before a concert; send a serious wine drinker somewhere else for dinner.
