Walk into Vic & Anthony's and the wine list announces itself like a Vegas floor show — big names, big bottles, big prices. It's a 66-label book that leans hard into Napa Cabernet and California Chardonnay, which is exactly what you'd expect inside a casino steakhouse in Atlantic City. Nothing surprising here, but nothing embarrassing either.
The list is essentially a California greatest hits compilation with a few European cameos. Napa Cab dominates — Caymus, Hall, Revana, Hestan, Girard's Artistry — and if that's your game, you're covered. There's a thin but respectable Burgundy-adjacent lane with Resonance and Siduri from Willamette, and a lone Bordeaux interloper in the form of Alter Ego by Château Palmer. The real missed opportunity is the almost complete absence of Italy, Spain, and anything Old World with serious depth — the Donna Margherita Barbera is a curious outlier, and the Guigal Condrieu Viognier from 2004 is a relic that either represents cellaring ambition or a bottle that got lost in the back room.
Twelve options by the glass is a respectable showing for a steakhouse, running from $15 (CrossBarn Chardonnay, Donna Margherita Barbera) up to $60 for the Alter Ego Margaux — a pour price that requires some confidence in your evening. The range covers bubbles, white, and red bases without any real adventure, but the glass list is more functional than inspired.
Siduri Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley — $16/glass
Siduri consistently punches above its price point, and at $16 a glass inside a casino steakhouse, it's the rare moment where the markup doesn't make you wince. A legitimate Willamette Pinot for less than a well cocktail at the tables next door.
E. Guigal Viognier, Condrieu, Rhône 2004
A 2004 Condrieu from Guigal on a steakhouse list in Atlantic City is genuinely bizarre — and potentially fantastic if stored well. Condrieu at any age from Guigal is the kind of bottle that shuts people up mid-conversation. Most tables will ignore it entirely, which means you probably should not.
Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa
At $36 a glass, you're paying casino-resort markup on one of the most over-distributed Cabs in the country. Caymus is fine, but it's also on the wine list of every Applebee's-adjacent operation from here to Phoenix. The Hall Winery Cab at $30 gets you more interesting for less money.
Alter Ego by Château Palmer, Margaux + Dry-aged ribeye
Alter Ego is the second wine of Château Palmer — full Margaux pedigree at a fraction of the flagship price. Against a dry-aged ribeye, the Margaux structure and earthy backbone do exactly what Bordeaux was born to do with beef. At $60 a glass it's a splurge, but it's the one moment on this list where the price feels like it's buying you something.
The Bottom Line
Vic & Anthony's is a competent casino steakhouse wine list — it won't embarrass you and it won't thrill you. If you're already there for the steak, grab the Siduri by the glass and don't look too hard at the markups.

The Iron Room is the kind of wine-forward bar Atlantic City doesn't know it needs — cozy, staffed by people who care, and refreshingly serious about what's in the glass. If you're in AC and want something other than $14 Pinot Grigio at a casino bar, this is your move.
