Wingman Metrics
The wine list here is exactly what you'd expect from a winery restaurant — every bottle comes from the house, full stop. It's a tight 14-label lineup that doubles as a tasting menu in disguise, and at $35–$60 a bottle, the pricing doesn't try to gouge you for the captive audience.
Renault leans into its New Jersey roots with more range than you might expect from a single-producer list: a Grüner Veltliner and a Riesling hold down the white side, while a Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and two Meritage expressions anchor the reds. There's even a Port and a Blueberry Champagne that signal this winery is happy to play to the crowd. The Grande Meritage at $60 sits at the top of the price ladder, while the Chardonnay Reserve, Fleur de Blanc, and Riesling all open at $35 — a reasonable floor. The regional ambition is modest but the execution is clearly intentional; someone made real variety decisions here rather than just bottling whatever fermented.
By-the-glass options aren't listed publicly, so we can't confirm what's available on the pour. If they're running a tasting-flight format — which would make sense for a winery restaurant — that would actually be a better deal than guessing at a single glass. Worth asking your server directly before committing to a bottle.
The Bottom Line
Renault is a one-producer list, and you have to go in knowing that — but within that constraint, the variety is genuinely solid and the pricing is honest. If you're curious about what South Jersey wine looks like when someone takes it seriously, this is the right place to find out.
· Atlantic City · Cocktail Lounge
Nola's is a genuinely fun place to spend a late night on the Atlantic City Boardwalk — the atmosphere earns its stripes. But if wine is why you're sitting down, you're in the wrong seat. Order a cocktail, enjoy the music, and save your serious wine budget for somewhere that's thought harder about the list.

The Iron Room is the kind of wine-forward bar Atlantic City doesn't know it needs — cozy, staffed by people who care, and refreshingly serious about what's in the glass. If you're in AC and want something other than $14 Pinot Grigio at a casino bar, this is your move.

Golden Nugget Casino · Atlantic City · Steakhouse
Vic & Anthony's is a competent casino steakhouse wine list — it won't embarrass you and it won't thrill you. If you're already there for the steak, grab the Siduri by the glass and don't look too hard at the markups.

Margate City · Atlantic City · Seafood / New American
Steve & Cookie's isn't a wine destination, but it's a solid spot to drink reasonably well alongside excellent seafood and a live jazz soundtrack. If you're going Monday through Thursday, get there early and hit the bar before your table.

Sofia isn't a wine destination, but it's a better-than-expected list for the Shore — especially if you lean into the Greek selections that nobody else around here is bothering with. The markups on the California staples will sting, so go Greek and drink smarter.

Café 2825 is a celebration restaurant with a wine list to match — trophy Champagnes, premium California whites, and a few smart Italian picks that reward anyone who looks past the obvious. Prices likely reflect the occasion more than the liquid, but if you're in Atlantic City for a big night, there are worse places to pop a bottle.
