Come for the wings, skip the wine

Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Toot's is exactly what you'd expect from a sports bar that built its reputation on wings and cold beer — three options, no producers listed, no pretense. It's not a wine destination and it doesn't try to be, which is at least honest.
Three wines. That's the whole program: a California Merlot, a California Chardonnay, and a White Zinfandel. No producers are listed anywhere on the menu, which tells you everything you need to know about the level of curation happening here. The California region tag feels more like a default than a deliberate choice. If you're the person at the table who drinks wine at a sports bar, you're eating your losses tonight.
All three wines are available by the glass at $6.25 each, and there's a sangria option at $7.00 a glass or $14.00 for a pitcher — which is honestly the most creative thing on this list. There's no rotation, no seasonal pour, no chalk board special. What's listed is what exists.
California Chardonnay — $6.25
At $6.25 a glass with no retail comp to benchmark against, it's a low-stakes call. Chardonnay is the safest bet here — it's the most widely produced varietal at this price point and the least likely to disappoint a crowd that just wants something cold and white while the game's on.
Sangria
At $14 for a pitcher, the sangria is the only thing on this list with any personality. It's not a wine program win, but for a table splitting apps and watching football, it quietly makes sense in a way the other three options don't.
California White Zinfandel
White Zin exists here as a concession to a demographic that may not realize there are better options at this price. It's sweet, it's anonymous, and it has no business appearing on a list that could be using that slot for literally anything else.
California Chardonnay + Chicken Wings
Look, we're working with what we have. A lightly oaked California Chardonnay has enough body to hold up against sauced wings without disappearing, and the residual fruit cuts through the heat better than the Merlot would. It's not a pairing masterclass — it's survival.
❌ The Bottom Line
Toot's is a wings-and-beer operation with three anonymous California wines tacked on as an afterthought. Order the beer, order the sangria pitcher, and save the wine conversation for somewhere else.
Rutherford Blvd · Murfreesboro · Japanese / Sushi
Wasabi is a fun spot for teppanyaki and sushi, but the wine list is an afterthought dressed up as a menu section. Order the plum wine, enjoy the hibachi show, and save the serious bottle for somewhere else.

Downtown Murfreesboro · Murfreesboro · Brewpub
Blackhorse is a genuinely good brewpub, and you should absolutely order a pint. The wine list, though, is purely functional — it exists so the person at the table who doesn't drink beer has something to order, and it doesn't pretend to be anything more than that.

Logan's Roadhouse in Murfreesboro isn't trying to impress you with wine, and it succeeds. Save your wine budget for somewhere that's actually spending a moment thinking about it — here, order the whiskey.

O'Charley's isn't where you come for a wine experience, but if you're here for the food and want a fair pour at a fair price, the list delivers exactly that. Send a friend here for the Wednesday half-price wine night and keep expectations calibrated.

Chili's wine program is a checkbox, not a commitment — and the Murfreesboro location is no exception. Drink the margaritas, eat the ribs, and don't let anyone at the table order the bottle.

Puckett's is a great night out for live music and serious BBQ — but the wine list is here because it has to be, not because anyone really wanted it. Stick to the A. Marshall pours during happy hour and let the food do the talking.
