Wingman Metrics
Walk in expecting pizza, and that's exactly what Tony's delivers — the wine list is an afterthought in the best possible way. It's not trying to impress anyone, but it's not embarrassing either. At $4.50 a glass, you can order a round without doing mental math.
Twenty-seven labels split almost entirely between California and Italy, which makes sense given the brick-oven Italian-American concept. You've got the usual suspects — Bogle, Cupcake, Ecco Domani — alongside a few legitimately decent picks like Banfi Chianti Classico and J. Lohr Cab. There's no real depth here and no surprises hiding at the bottom of the list, but the range covers white, red, sparkling, and blends without any glaring gaps. What you won't find: anything from Spain, France, or outside those two regions.
Twenty-four of the twenty-seven labels are available by the glass, which is almost the entire list — a rare and genuinely useful move for a casual spot. Prices top out at $10 a glass, keeping things accessible for a table splitting a pie. Rotation appears nonexistent, but at these prices, nobody's complaining.
Banfi Chianti Classico — $18
Banfi's Chianti Classico is the most Italy-appropriate bottle on this list, and at $18 it's priced like they actually want you to drink it with pizza. Sangiovese and brick-oven crust is a no-brainer, and this is the one bottle that earns its keep.
Don Miguel Gascon Malbec
Most people at a pizza joint will reach for whatever Chianti or Cab is listed first. The Gascon Malbec gets overlooked but it's a reliably fruit-forward, crowd-friendly pour that holds its own against a heavy meat pizza.
Apothic Red Winemakers Blend
Apothic is a $10 grocery store bottle showing up at $29 here. It's sweet, it's everywhere, and it's not doing anything for your pizza that a better option on this same list wouldn't do at a similar price.
Banfi Chianti Classico + Brick Oven Pizza
Sangiovese's natural acidity and tomato-friendly profile were basically engineered for this situation. Chianti and pizza is a classic for a reason, and Banfi's version is the one bottle on this list built for the flagship dish.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Tony's isn't a wine destination — it's a pizza destination with a functional wine list that won't let you down. Order the Chianti, grab a slice, and leave the wine nerd hat at home.
Downtown Gulfport · Gulfport · Steakhouse
The Rack House wine list is exactly what a Gulf Coast steakhouse should be — unpretentious, fairly priced, and wide enough by the glass that you don't feel cornered. We'd send a friend here without hesitation, just with the note to skip the Moscato and go straight for the Ste. Michelle.

Island View Casino · Gulfport · Bar
This is not a destination for wine drinkers — it's a slot machine bar that happens to stock one bubbly. Come for the Sunday bottle deal at Carter Green Steakhouse next door, not for anything happening at the bar itself.

Island View Casino · Gulfport · Seafood / Raw Bar
The food concept is solid, but the wine program is an afterthought in a place that should know better — oysters are practically begging for a decent Muscadet or even a crisp rosé, and the kitchen deserves backup. Come for the shellfish, drink the bubbles on Sunday, and lower your expectations below sea level.

I-10 / Highway 49 Corridor · Gulfport · Hotel Restaurant / American
This is not a wine destination — it's a place to sleep near the highway that happens to have wine on the menu because it's legally a full-service hotel. Order a beer, or head somewhere else entirely.

This is a wine list for people who need wine with dinner and aren't interested in making it a thing — and it delivers exactly that without embarrassing anyone. If wine is important to your night, eat somewhere else; if you just want a glass of something recognizable while you watch the Gulf, you'll be fine.

Gulfport Beachfront / Highway 90 · Gulfport · Hotel Bistro
This is a wine list that exists because the hotel is required to have one. If you're sleeping here, grab a glass of the Clean Slate Riesling and call it a night — but don't make a trip to the Courtyard Bistro for the wine program.
