Twenty labels isn't a lot, but The Saint isn't trying to be a cellar — it's a late-night lounge in the heart of wine country, and the list knows exactly what it is. The Champagne section alone could anchor a proper wine bar, running from a $64 Prosecco all the way up to Cristal at $490. It's curated, unapologetically sparkle-forward, and leans hard into the Night Night house label.
The list breaks into three clean buckets: Night Night wines (the house label, five expressions), sparkling and Champagne (seven bottles, several serious), and whites and rosé (a handful of approachable pours). Night Night runs the gamut from a $21/glass Chardonnay to a $34/glass Cabernet Sauvignon, giving the lounge a local anchor that most wine bars can't claim. The Champagne lineup is genuinely impressive for a 20-label list — Schramsberg, Veuve, Gonet Grand Cru, Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle, and Cristal all in one place. Reds and broader variety are almost nonexistent beyond the Night Night bottles, so if you're hunting Pinot or old-world depth, you're in the wrong room.
Sixteen of the twenty labels pour by the glass, which is a remarkably high conversion rate and great news for groups who can't agree on a bottle. Glass pours span $16 to $34, with most of the interesting Champagne options only available by the bottle. The Night Night lineup pours across the board, making it easy to do a mini-flight of the house range without committing to full bottles.
The Bottom Line
The Saint is a genuinely fun outlier — a 20-label list anchored by a solid house label and an ambitious Champagne section is not what you expect from a lounge in St. Helena, and that surprise is worth something. Markups run steep across the board, and the narrow range means this isn't your destination for a deep wine exploration. But if you want to pop Schramsberg or work through the Night Night lineup in a relaxed setting, it delivers exactly what it promises.

Clif Family earns the Wild Card badge because it genuinely shouldn't work — a food truck, an energy bar brand, and Napa Cab on a Main Street patio — and yet it does. Send a friend here if they think Napa tasting rooms are too uptight; this is the antidote.

Hotel St. Helena's wine bar is a narrow but confident list that earns its place as a Champagne Garden — the California sparkling selection alone is worth the stop on a Main Street afternoon. Just know you're paying for the setting as much as the wine, and lean into the bubbles.
