Wingman Metrics
Rabun Social is a cocktail-forward concept, and the wine list reflects that priority. You'll find a handful of approachable options by the glass and a short bottle list. Nothing surprising, but nothing offensive either. The selections lean toward easy-drinking whites and familiar reds that complement the Asian fusion menu without competing with the craft cocktail program, which is clearly the star of the bar.
Rabun Social is the social hub of downtown Clayton. The cocktail program is creative and well-executed, the Asian fusion menu is a welcome change of pace from the steakhouse-and-pizza defaults of most mountain towns, and the atmosphere is lively without being loud. Wine is available and serviceable, but if you're here, you're probably drinking a cocktail.
The wine list exists, it's fairly priced, and it works with the food. Rabun Social knows its identity is cocktails and cuisine, and the wine program supports that without pretending to be something it isn't. Reliable.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Rabun Social is Clayton's cocktail spot with a side of wine. The Asian fusion menu is the draw, the cocktails are the stars, and the wine list does its job quietly. Fair and functional.
LaPrade's Marina · Clayton · Pizza / Quick Service
Billy Goat Island once had a bottle list that punched way above its weight class for a marina pizza counter. Ownership changes and a winter closure leave the wine program in limbo. We will update when it reopens.

Lake Burton · Clayton · Dive Bar / American
Lake Burton Cafe is a lakeside dive bar. The beer is cold, the setting is great, and the wine is irrelevant. That's not a criticism.

Jefferson Pointe / West Fort Wayne · Fort Wayne · Asian Fusion
Nawa is a fine place to eat; the wine list won't embarrass anyone, but it won't excite them either. Grab the Amarone or the Broquel Malbec, ignore the celebrity bottles, and let the food do the heavy lifting.

La Sierra / Tyler Mall · Riverside · Asian Fusion
PF Chang's Tyler Street isn't a wine destination, but it's not trying to be — and within those limits, it mostly delivers. Bring someone who wants a solid glass with dinner, not someone who wants to geek out over a list.

Riverside Plaza · Riverside · Asian Fusion
PF Chang's Riverside is a perfectly fine place to eat Chang's Lettuce Wraps, but the wine program is a chain-standard, margin-first operation that nobody should come here specifically for. Order the Riesling, enjoy the Mongolian Beef, and keep your expectations low.
