Wingman Metrics
Six bottles, six glass pours — the whole list fits on a napkin, and that's fine. Nido Cafe isn't trying to be a wine bar; it's a neighborhood cafe that picked a tight, sensible lineup and priced it like they actually want you to order a glass. Nothing here is going to blow your mind, but nothing is going to insult it either.
The list covers the basics without much overlap: a Spanish Cava, a rosé, a Pinot Grigio, a Sauvignon Blanc, a Chardonnay, and a Pinot Noir. That's one red, one sparkling, and four whites and pinks — so if you're a Cabernet loyalist, you're out of luck. Les Jamelles is a reliable Languedoc producer for the Sauvignon Blanc, and Los Monteros Cava is a solid call for a sparkling option at this price point. The Seasun duo (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir) leans California approachable, which fits the room. No real depth here, but the picks are coherent.
Every bottle on the list is available by the glass, which means your options are exactly the full list — nothing is bottle-only. Prices run $9–$12 per glass, which is genuinely reasonable for the Cumming, GA market. There's no rotation or featured pours program, but at these prices you're not owed one.
The Bottom Line
Nido Cafe's wine list is short by design and honest about what it is. Six solid, fairly-priced options served at a neighborhood cafe — no pretense, no gouging, no surprises. If you're here for a casual lunch or coffee and want a glass of something decent with it, this list does exactly what it needs to do.

· Cumming, GA · Italian
Mia Ristorante Italiano is a solid neighborhood Italian joint where the food clearly carries the night — the wine list is there to support dinner, not steal the show. If you're after a deep, adventurous pour, look elsewhere; if you want a comfortable glass of something Italian-friendly with your Veal Parm in a room that feels like a local secret, this hits the spot. We'd send a friend here for the food without hesitation, and tell them the wine will do just fine.

Avi's wine list is exactly what a neighborhood steakhouse should have — fair prices, enough variety to keep a table of six happy, and a few quiet overachievers hiding in plain sight. It won't excite a serious wine nerd, but it won't insult them either. If you're in Cumming and need a solid bottle with your steak, you can do this without regret.

Tam's BackStage is doing exactly what a neighborhood restaurant wine list should do: keep it accessible, keep the markup fair, and make sure almost everything is available by the glass. It's not going to win any awards for adventurousness, but the Crossings at $9 a pour and Centine at $39 a bottle give you genuine value in a list that could have coasted on Canyon Road alone. Send a friend here when they want a solid glass without a lesson.

The Ridge is a solid night out if you're in Forsyth County and want a steak with a side of live music and forest air — the wine program just isn't the reason to come. Until the list is published and verifiable, order something bold and red, enjoy your filet, and let the scenery do the heavy lifting.

Santa Maria is a genuine surprise for Cumming — a 26-bottle list that manages to be both approachable and quietly adventurous, with fair pricing and some real personality in the whites. We don't have enough intel on the staff or the floor experience to call it a Rager, but the wine program itself earns a Wild Card: it's doing things you wouldn't expect, and that's worth showing up for.

The real headline here is Friday: half-price bottles under $250, which is a legitimately good deal in any zip code. Add a sommelier in a neighborhood grill context and Tin Cup earns a look that most Cumming restaurants don't. We'd go in on a Friday, ask for a recommendation, and let the staff do their job — that's what they're there for.

KickStand punches above its weight class for a cafe wine program — six bottles, almost all of them local, with real producers worth knowing. We can't speak to pricing or service confidence without more data, but if you're already in Hood River and want a glass of something made within shouting distance of where you're sitting, this list is doing the right thing in a small package.

You're not coming to Rogue Valley Roasting Company for a wine-focused evening — but if you're in Ashland, want a glass of legit local wine without the prix-fixe atmosphere, and don't mind that the list tops out at three options, this is a surprisingly honest little pour stop. Send a friend here? Sure, if they need a break from the Shakespeare crowd.

Persephone is the best wine program in Jackson Hole you'd never expect to find inside a bakery. If you're in town and you're not stopping here for a glass and something from the pastry case, you're doing the trip wrong.
