YAVA is a craft beer joint that remembered wine drinkers exist, and it did a decent job of it. Not a wine destination, but if you're in Cumming and eating live-fire, you won't go thirsty or broke.

The Twisted Oar is a genuinely fun lakefront spot, but the wine list is pure afterthought — nine bottles, five from the same budget Chilean producer, and nothing that reflects the effort the kitchen clearly puts into the food. Order the Wither Hills, enjoy the view, and don't expect more than that.
