Wingman Metrics
Nine wines. Every single one available by the glass. That's not a wine program with ambition — it's a wine program with priorities, and those priorities are keeping things simple for a crowd that came for the food. Nothing wrong with that, as long as the picks are decent, and here they mostly are.
The list hits the expected marks for a gastropub: a bubbly opener in the Acinum Prosecco, a couple of crowd-friendly whites in the Angeline Chardonnay and Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc, and a red section anchored by the Old Soul Cabernet and Barnard Griffin Rob's Red Blend. There's a pleasant surprise in the Dr. Loosen Riesling — a producer that actually earns its place on any list — and the Chemistry Pinot Gris rounds out the whites with something a little off the beaten path. Geographic diversity is thin: you're essentially looking at California, Washington, New Zealand, and one German riesling, with no real old-world depth beyond that Loosen. It's a list built for consensus, not discovery.
All nine bottles pour by the glass, which is genuinely useful — no one's stuck committing to a bottle of something they're not sure about. Pours run $10–$12, which is reasonable for Newnan without being a steal. The range covers sparkling, white, rosé, and red, so every table is taken care of regardless of preference.
The Bottom Line
Meat N Greet isn't trying to be a wine destination, and the list makes that clear — but within a nine-bottle program, the pricing is fair and there are a couple of genuinely good producers tucked in. If you're in Newnan and want a glass of something decent without overthinking it, this works. Just go straight for the Loosen.

Mama Lucia's wine list punches well above its weight for a casual Italian restaurant in Newnan — fair pricing, real Italian regional depth, and an almost entirely by-the-glass program that invites exploration. If you're the kind of person who gets excited about Valtellina Superiore showing up at $13 a glass, send a friend here immediately.

Graysons puts together a wine list that would hold its own in Atlanta, let alone Newnan. The by-the-glass depth is the real headline — 36 options with fair pricing means you can explore without committing to a bottle or breaking the bank. If you're in Coweta County and want a proper glass of wine with your steak, this is your spot.

Good Word is a brewery that built a wine list with actual intention, and that's rarer than it should be. We can't speak to pricing or glass pours without more data, but the selection itself — Vinho Verde, Mosel Riesling, Languedoc Chardonnay, Argentine blends, two Cavas — is the work of someone who wanted wine drinkers to feel welcome at a beer place. If you're the wine person in a beer-drinking group, Good Word has you covered.

The Olde Blind Dog is a pub first and a wine destination never — but it's put together a 20-bottle list that's functional and occasionally surprising, which is more than most places with shamrocks on the sign bother to do. If you're here for a pint, stay for a pint. If a friend insists on wine, steer them toward the Neyers or the Stags Leap and call it a win.

The Family Dog prices its wine reasonably, and credit where it's due — $8–$9 a glass is honest money. But five unnamed, producer-free varietals is not a wine program; it's an afterthought. If you're here for the pub experience, lean into a beer and come back to wine somewhere that actually cares.
