Wingman Metrics
Krog Bar does something most wine bars won't bother with: every single bottle on the list is also available by the glass. All 17 of them. That's a commitment, and it tells you right away that this place is built for curious drinkers who want to explore without buying the whole boat. The list is compact but it's clearly been edited by someone with a point of view.
For 17 labels, there's real range here — a sparkling section that goes beyond the obligatory Prosecco (Montinore Brut and Treveri Brut Blanc de Blanc both earn their spots), a white/rosé lineup that touches Sancerre, Gavi, Pinot Gris, and a Zweigelt-Pinot rosé from Junes that you won't find anywhere else in Atlanta. The reds lean Italian and Iberian, with Lamole di Lamole Chianti Classico, Viña Alberdi Riserva Tempranillo, and the Illahe Pinot Noir rounding things out. There are gaps — no natural wine to speak of, no skin-contact anything — but within its lane, the list is coherent and intentional. What it lacks in depth it makes up for in accessibility.
The full list being available by the glass is genuinely the headline here — $12 gets you in the door and $25 is the ceiling, which keeps even the Sancerre within reason. There's no apparent rotation program, so what you see is what you get, but what you get is more interesting than most spots twice the size.
Lamole di Lamole Chianti Classico — $14
Chianti Classico by the glass at this price is hard to find anywhere. Lamole di Lamole is a solid producer in Greve, and pouring it by the glass without jacking the price is exactly the kind of move that keeps us coming back.
Junes Rosé Zweigelt-Pinot
Nobody orders this because nobody recognizes it, and that's a shame. Zweigelt-based rosé is an Austrian rarity with a savory, dry edge that blows past your standard Provençal pour. It's the most interesting wine on the list and it's probably sitting there untouched.
Hill Family Estate Chardonnay
In a lineup this eclectic, a California Chardonnay feels like a placeholder for the guests who won't try anything else. Nothing wrong with Hill Family, but it's the least interesting choice on a list that rewards curiosity.
Francois Roumieux Côtes du Rhône + Charcuterie board
A Southern Rhône blend — likely Grenache-forward with some Syrah backbone — is built for exactly the kind of cured meats and aged cheeses a tapas-style board throws at it. The wine has enough fruit to play with the fat and enough structure to cut through it.
🎲 The Bottom Line
Krog Bar is the rare spot where a short list feels like a feature, not a limitation. If you want to drink well by the glass without committing to a bottle or decoding a 12-page novel of a wine list, this is your place.

Proof & Provision isn't a wine destination, and it knows it. But the pricing is honest, the Grüner Veltliner earns its spot, and if you're already at the Georgian Terrace, you could do significantly worse than this list. Go in with appropriate expectations and you'll leave satisfied.

Krog Bar isn't trying to win awards for its wine program — it's trying to make sure you have a great glass while you eat well, and on that count it delivers consistently. Send your friends here, point them toward the Tempranillo or the Lambrusco, and stop overthinking it.

Bottle Rocket ATL isn't a wine destination and doesn't pretend to be — but $10–$15 a glass for Cupcake and Coppola is asking a lot of goodwill. Order the Casanova di Neri, appreciate the one good decision someone made, and don't expect more than that.
