The rooftop view probably slaps, but the wine list reads like someone grabbed whatever was on an end-cap at Total Wine and called it a program. Five labels, all of them names you'd recognize from a casual Friday grocery run — there's no curation happening here, just coverage.
Santa Margherita, Kim Crawford, Robert Mondavi, Whispering Angel, Pinot Project — this is a greatest-hits album for people who don't really drink wine. Every bottle is a safe, mass-market play designed to avoid complaints rather than inspire anyone. There's no regional focus, no independent producer, no interesting corner of the wine world to explore. The list exists so the bar can say it has wine, and that's about the extent of the ambition.
Everything on the list is available by the glass, which sounds generous until you realize the list is only five bottles deep. At $17–$22 a pour, you're paying rooftop-premium prices for wines that retail around $12–$20 a bottle — the math isn't flattering. There's no rotation, no seasonal swap, no reason to come back expecting something new.
Pinot Project Pinot Noir — $18
Relative to the rest of the list, this is the least egregious pour. It's a light, easy-drinking Oregon Pinot from a decent negociant label — not exciting, but it's the one glass here that might actually taste like something intentional.
Moët & Chandon Champagne
At $22 a glass, this is the one moment where the pricing almost makes sense. Moët is still real Champagne, and if you're watching the sunset from a rooftop in Hudson, a glass of bubbles is genuinely the right call — even if the bottle itself is about as mass-market as Champagne gets.
Whispering Angel Rosé
At $20 a glass, you're paying a steep premium for the brand recognition, not the wine. Whispering Angel retails for around $25–$30 a bottle and has become a lifestyle prop more than a quality benchmark. You can do better for less almost anywhere else in Hudson.
Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc + Unknown — no menu data available

❌ The Bottom Line
Come for the rooftop, absolutely — but order a cocktail or a beer and save the wine night for somewhere else in town. This list isn't a program, it's a placeholder.

This is one of the better arguments for Hudson Valley wine you'll find on a single Warren Street block. If you've written off New York State as a wine region, Whitecliff's tasting room is the correction you didn't know you needed.

Lil' Deb's doesn't have a wine list — it has a point of view. If you're open to drinking something you've never heard of in a room that feels like no other restaurant in upstate New York, this is exactly where you should be.

Hudson Taco isn't trying to be a wine destination, but the list is smarter than the setting suggests — a few genuinely interesting picks tucked into a short, taco-friendly lineup. Just know going in that you're paying for the river view as much as what's in the glass, and steer toward the Spanish whites.

Wm. Farmer & Sons isn't going to make you rearrange your weekend for the wine list alone, but it's doing real things — Weinbach, Bedrock, fair prices — in a room that earns the pour. Send a friend here for dinner on a Thursday and tell them to order the mussels and the Riesling.
