Sitting inside Harvest Inn on a stretch of St. Helena that's surrounded by serious Napa producers, Harvest Table's wine list feels modest — almost deliberately so. Fourteen labels, fourteen by-the-glass pours, clean Napa-forward focus. It's not trying to compete with the big resort lists down the road, and that's fine.
The list is short and stays close to home: Napa Valley is the clear anchor, with a nod to Anderson Valley via the Blue Oasis Pinot Noir. You've got the expected Napa Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon slots filled by reliable names like Duckhorn, plus the Clif Family 'The Climber' Bordeaux Blend for a more casual red option. What's missing is any real depth — no older vintages, no exploration of Sonoma, Paso, or even a single international bottle to keep things interesting. It's a wine-country restaurant that leans heavily on crowd-pleaser brands rather than using its backyard address as an excuse to dig deeper.
The by-the-glass program is the whole show here — all 14 wines are available by the glass, which is generous and approachable. Prices run $14–$19 for most pours, with the Old Soda Springs Cabernet Sauvignon Eva's Block jumping to $37 if you want to step up. Rotation appears minimal; this looks like a set list rather than a dynamic program.
Honig Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2024 — $14/glass
Honig is one of Napa's most dependable Sauvignon Blanc producers, and at $14 a glass this is the most honest pour on the list. Skip the water, start here.
Blue Oasis Pinot Noir Anderson Valley 2020
Everyone at this table is ordering Napa Cab, which means this Anderson Valley Pinot sits overlooked. Anderson Valley does cool-climate Pinot better than most realize, and at $19 a glass you're getting a different conversation than everything else on this list.
Old Soda Springs Cabernet Sauvignon Eva's Block Napa Valley 2022
At $37 a glass and $148 a bottle, this is the prestige pour on a very short list — but with no bottle-to-retail context and limited information about the producer's track record, it's a steep ask. Unless someone at the table has had it before, there are better ways to spend $37 in Napa.
Duckhorn Chardonnay Napa Valley 2023 + Baked Halibut
Duckhorn's Napa Chardonnay has enough weight and oak to stand up to a buttery halibut preparation without overwhelming it. It's the most natural match on this list and at $18 a glass, it doesn't hurt.

Harvest Table is a solid, unpretentious wine stop inside a wine-country inn — fair prices, familiar names, zero friction. We wouldn't send a serious wine nerd here, but for a relaxed dinner with a good glass of Napa Chardonnay and some Parker House Rolls, there's nothing to complain about.

Hotel St. Helena's wine bar is a narrow but confident list that earns its place as a Champagne Garden — the California sparkling selection alone is worth the stop on a Main Street afternoon. Just know you're paying for the setting as much as the wine, and lean into the bubbles.
