Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Fogo de Chão Austin is a tight 64-label lineup that leans hard into South America — Argentina and Chile dominate, with a Brazilian cameo that feels appropriate given the concept. Prices top out at $48.50 a bottle, which is almost disorienting in a world of $22-a-glass pours. Whatever else you think about a churrasquería chain, they are not trying to gouge you on wine.
The list is organized into house Fogo Tribute Wines, sparkling, whites, and rosés — no Old World representation to speak of, and the reds we have pricing data on are mostly in that $19–$42 range. The VIK Eulila and VIK O Leão Red Blends show up at $30 a bottle, which is a genuine surprise given that VIK is a prestige Colchagua producer whose bottles typically command multiples of that at retail. The white section has some range: Lapostolle runs from a $21 Grand Selection Sauvignon Blanc all the way to their Cuvée Alexandre Atalayas Vineyard Chardonnay at $33, and Catena Zapata's Catena Alta Chardonnay anchors the top of the white list at $42. There are also some genuinely interesting entries in the whites and rosés — Amalaya's Torrontés/Riesling blend and Trivento's three-grape Amado Sur are not what you usually see at a steakhouse.
By-the-glass options are not confirmed in our source data, so we can't speak to what's available on the pour. Given the bottle prices and the format of the list, it's reasonable to assume some glass options exist, but we won't guess at what they are or what they cost.
The Bottom Line
Fogo de Chão Austin is not a destination wine list, but it's a legitimately fair one — South American focus, honest prices, and a couple of genuine steals hiding in plain sight. If you're here for the espeto corrido experience, grab a VIK blend at $30 and don't overthink it.

Sammie's is a genuinely fun room with a wine list that's earned its Wine Spectator hardware — the Italian depth is real, the sommelier knows her stuff, and Monday half-price bottles might be the best deal in Austin. Just go in knowing the markups lean steep, and let Jenny point you toward the plays that aren't on the tourist track.

Ciclo is a reliable, well-run California-centric wine program that does exactly what it says on the menu — it just charges you for the privilege. If you're here for the steakhouse experience and want a Cab that won't embarrass you, Joe Pena's list delivers. Just don't expect to be surprised.

Birdie's has no business being this good at wine for a neighborhood spot on East 12th — and that's the highest compliment we can give it. Send your friends here, tell them to order Burgundy, and let them figure out on their own that this place is a wild card worth knowing.

Siena's wine list is a genuine Italian-focused program with some serious names and a half-price Monday that should be on every Austin wine drinker's calendar. Markups run steep at the high end, but the bones are good enough that we'd send a friend — especially on a Monday.

Fogo de Chão Coral Gables is a reliable wine stop in the sense that you won't go thirsty, and the massive by-the-glass program means you'll find something drinkable without committing to a bottle. But the markups lean steep on the upper tier, and the list doesn't ask much of you — or itself. Stick to the Garzón Albariño or a Zuccardi Malbec, skip the Champagne, and put your real attention on the meat.

· Lynnwood · Brazilian Steakhouse
Fogo de Chão Lynnwood's wine list is exactly what you'd expect from a polished chain steakhouse: broad, safe, and priced to capture rather than to impress. The South American anchors give it a reason to exist beyond the generic, and the sheer volume of by-the-glass options means most tables will find something that works. We'd send a friend here for the Garzón Albariño or the Zuccardi Malbec — just don't come expecting to be surprised.

For a chain steakhouse, the wine pricing here is genuinely refreshing — nearly everything sits under $36/bottle, and there's enough quality across the Malbec and white wine selections to drink well without overthinking it. If you're coming for the meat, the list does its job. Just don't show up expecting depth beyond the Southern Cone.
