You walk into what looks like a breezy Napa bistro and then you see the wine list — and it stops you cold. This is not a neighborhood restaurant playing house with a few local Cabs; this is a serious, curated program wearing casual clothes. The range from $58 ZD Chardonnay to a $1,850 Pierre Girardin Bâtard-Montrachet tells you immediately that someone here gives a damn.

The core is unapologetically Napa and California — Spottswoode, Kongsgaard, Hourglass, Smith Madrone, Faust, and Marcassin all appear, covering whites and reds across the valley floor and mountain districts with genuine depth. But the Old World component is what elevates this from regional showcase to real wine destination: Dauvissat Chablis in two vintages, Coche-Dury Meursault, Domaine Chave Hermitage, Pascal Cotat Sancerre, Thibaud Boudignon Savennières, and Huet Vouvray signal a buyer who reads beyond Wine Spectator. The Champagne section is its own beast — Krug in three iterations, Bollinger, Billecart-Salmon Rosé, Ruinart, Dom Pérignon back to 2000 — for a bistro, that's borderline absurd in the best possible way. The one genuine gap is depth in red Burgundy and Southern Hemisphere wine, but given everything else on offer, it's hard to hold that against them.

Eighteen pours by the glass is a serious commitment for a restaurant this size, covering sparkling, whites, rosé, and reds with actual ambition — Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs, Hourglass HGIII Cabernet, and Opus One Overture all available by the glass is genuinely remarkable. Glass prices run $14–$95, which is a wide enough spread to accommodate both the midweek dinner crowd and the person who just sold a startup. The rotation doesn't appear to change frequently, but with Overture and Hourglass poured by the glass, you're not exactly suffering.
