Wingman Metrics
Seven wines. Seven. At a casino restaurant with a full seafood menu, the wine list reads like someone grabbed whatever was on sale at the nearest Costco and called it a day. The Forrest Gump theming is committed and fun — the wine program is neither.
All seven labels are California-only, and not exactly the adventurous end of California either. We're talking Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay, Meiomi Pinot Noir, J. Lohr in two expressions, Estancia Pinot Grigio, Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc, and La Marca Prosecco — a murderer's row of grocery store endcaps. There's no rosé, no regional interest, no white wine that would actually make you excited to eat a shrimp po' boy. The list doesn't grow or rotate; it just exists, inert, doing the bare minimum.
Five of the seven bottles are available by the glass, which sounds generous until you look at what's being poured. At $8–$11 a glass, you're paying full markup on wines that retail around $10–$15 a bottle. The pour program exists to serve people who want something alcoholic that isn't a frozen cocktail — and it just barely accomplishes that.
Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc — $8/glass
It's the lowest-stakes order on the list. Crisp, straightforward, and at $8 it won't sting when you realize this was never going to be a wine destination.
La Marca Prosecco
In a list this flat, bubbles are your best escape hatch. La Marca is approachable and slightly festive — order it, pretend you're somewhere more interesting, enjoy your shrimp.
Meiomi Pinot Noir
At $43 a bottle, you're paying a heavy premium for a jammy, sweetish Pinot that retails around $15. In a Gulf Coast casino, there are far better ways to spend that $43.
Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc + Shrimp Po' Boy
The Sauvignon Blanc's citrus-forward acidity cuts through the fried elements and actually complements the shrimp. It's the one moment this list makes a small amount of sense.
❌ The Bottom Line
This is a theme restaurant inside a casino — wine is an afterthought and the list proves it. Order a frozen cocktail, enjoy the Forrest Gump trivia cards, and save your serious wine drinking for literally anywhere else.

Bull's is a reliable casino steakhouse wine list — not adventurous, not cheap, but staffed by someone who cares and stocked with bottles that hold up. Send a friend here if they're already at the casino; don't drive to Biloxi just for the wine.

The Toasted Yolk is a solid breakfast spot that has no business being reviewed for its wine program — and that's really the point. Come for the omelets, order a mimosa if they've got one, and don't expect the wine list to do any heavy lifting.

Matt's is punching above its weight class for a strip mall rotisserie spot — the Washington State focus is genuine and well-chosen, even if the markups could stand to be friendlier. Send a wine-curious friend here with instructions to order anything from Gorman, DeLille, or L'Ecole, and they'll thank you.
