Wingman Metrics
You open the laminated menu and land on the wine section in about four seconds — because it barely takes up more space than the dessert section. Thirteen labels, twelve of which you can buy at any Walgreens, and a price sheet that somehow manages to feel both cheap and overpriced at the same time.
This list is a greatest-hits compilation of grocery store shelf-grabbers: Dark Horse Chardonnay, Canyon Road Cab, Josh Cab, Kim Crawford Sauv Blanc. The one wine that actually earns a raised eyebrow is the La Crema Willamette Valley Pinot Noir — a legitimate bottle that has no business being on the same list as Wycliff Brut. There's no regional story being told here, no producer with a point of view, no sense that anyone curated this with anything other than a distributor's minimum-order sheet. The closest thing to an old-world selection is the Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio, which is American-owned and mass-produced in Italy — so, not exactly a passport stamp worth bragging about.
Nearly the entire list — twelve of thirteen bottles — pours by the glass, which sounds generous until you realize that's just because the list is tiny. Glass prices run $9.49 to $14.49, which is steep for what's being poured. The Fridays Five happy hour drops select pours to $5, which is the only reason to drink wine here at all.
Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling — $9.49
Ste. Michelle's Columbia Valley Riesling is a genuinely well-made wine with real acidity and fruit character. It's the one glass on this list where the quality actually justifies the pour price — order it cold, drink it fast, don't look at the rest of the list.
La Crema Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Most people at Fridays are grabbing a Bud Light or a Jack Daniel's cocktail, which means the La Crema Pinot Noir sits largely ignored. It shouldn't — it's a real wine from a real region with some actual structure. It's overpriced at the bottle rate, but it's the only pick here that won't embarrass you.
Wycliff Brut
Wycliff is a $7 bottle of California sparkling wine that exists to fill a 'bubbles' checkbox on chain restaurant menus. There is no reason to order this when La Marca Prosecco is sitting right next to it on the same list for not much more.
Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc + Jack Daniel's Glazed Salmon
The Kim Crawford's citrus-forward acidity and grassy snap cut through the sweet-smoky Jack Daniel's glaze without getting steamrolled by it. It's not a sophisticated pairing — but it's the most coherent one the list allows.
❌ The Bottom Line
TGI Fridays Green Bay is not a wine destination — it's a place where wine is an afterthought flanked by endless appetizer deals and frozen cocktails. If you're here, get the happy hour $5 pours, drink the Ste. Michelle Riesling or La Crema Pinot Noir, and save your wine ambitions for somewhere that has them too.
East River / De Pere Road Corridor · Green Bay · Classic American Supper Club / Steak and Seafood
The English Inn's wine list isn't going to win any awards, but it's priced honestly, covers the bases for a classic steak-and-seafood crowd, and that Tawny Port alone is worth the trip. Send your supper club-loving friends here without hesitation — just don't send the natural wine obsessives.

Come to Sushi Lover for the sushi — the wine list is clearly not the point and nobody's pretending otherwise. If you're drinking wine tonight, stick to the rosé or the plum wine and save the serious bottle for a restaurant that cares.

Taverne in the Sky is a perfectly competent hotel wine list with a knockout view as its wingman — fair prices on the accessible end, solid big-name bottle selection, and enough range to keep a mixed table happy. We wouldn't make a special trip for the wine alone, but if you're already there watching the Packers light up across the street, you won't be drinking badly.

West Side / Oneida Street · Green Bay · Upscale American Steakhouse & Seafood
1951 West is a safe, competent wine destination for steakhouse loyalists who want familiar California heavyweights without any curveballs. If you're chasing discovery, look elsewhere — but if you're ordering a ribeye and want a bottle that won't let you down, Jordan or Caymus will carry the night.

LongHorn is a perfectly fine place to eat a steak in Green Bay — just don't expect the wine list to keep up with the kitchen. Order a cocktail, split a bottle of the Malbec if you must, and save the serious wine drinking for somewhere that cares.

We wouldn't send a friend here for wine — we'd tell them to get the Sprite and save their money for somewhere that cares. Olive Garden feeds a lot of people and does it fine, but the wine list is a checkbox, not a program.

Ruby Tuesday Odessa is not a wine destination — and it has absolutely no interest in becoming one. Order a cocktail, lean into the salad bar, and don't come here with a corkscrew in your heart.

Applebee's is not a wine destination, and the Lakeland location doesn't pretend otherwise — which is almost a point in its favor. Order a cocktail, enjoy the wings, and save the wine drinking for somewhere that actually cares.

Chili's wine list exists to check a box, not to enhance your dinner. Order a margarita — it's what they actually care about — and save the wine conversation for somewhere that's having it back.
