Wingman Metrics
The list at Roshambo is compact at 27 labels, but it doesn't feel lazy — it feels edited. Someone made actual choices here, and most of them land. The price ceiling of $105 keeps things from getting silly, and the floor of $42 means you're not stuck drinking something embarrassing.
The whites carry this list. You've got William Fevre Chablis sitting next to Olivier Leflaive Les Setilles, Merry Edwards Sauvignon Blanc pulling serious Sonoma weight, and the Babylonstoren Soetmelksvlei White Blend from South Africa adding some genuine personality. Reds are a shorter story — Keplinger Vermillion (a Grenache-Syrah blend) and Trisaetum Pinot Noir are the highlights in a section that otherwise leans on reliable names like Alexander Valley Vineyards Cab and Domaine Laurent Chardigny Pinot Noir. Bubbles earn their own category with three options spanning Prosecco, Champagne, and a Crémant d'Alsace rosé — that's more effort than most places bother with. The one gap: if you want something that genuinely surprises on the red side, the list runs out of runway fast.
Eighteen of the 27 bottles are available by the glass, which is an unusually generous ratio — this is clearly a program built for grazing and exploring, not just bottle sales. Pours run $12 to $20, and the range includes the Domaine Laporte Sancerre at $16/glass and the William Fevre Chablis at $20/glass, which represents fair access to serious wine without committing to a full bottle. The Keplinger Vermillion by the glass at $18 is worth noting — you don't often see a small-production Grenache-Syrah blend in a pour format at a neighborhood spot.
The Bottom Line
Roshambo isn't trying to be a wine destination, but it's putting in real effort — fair markups, a deep by-the-glass program, and a few genuinely interesting bottles mixed in with the crowd-pleasers. If you're eating here, skip the Moët, pour the Keplinger, and thank whoever curated the whites. A solid, trustworthy list that earns a return visit.

· Atlanta · Fine Dining
Polaris plays it safe and charges fine dining prices to do it — the Caymus at $250 is the headline, but the broader markups tell the same story. If you want a generous glass program with names you trust and don't feel like gambling on an unfamiliar bottle, this works. But if you're hoping the wine list matches the ambition of the room, you'll leave a little underwhelmed.

Glenn's Kitchen is a hotel bar wine list doing exactly what hotel bar wine lists do — keeping guests comfortable and margins healthy. The Luigi Pira Nebbiolo is a genuine bright spot worth seeking out, but this isn't a destination for wine. If you're staying at The Glenn or grabbing dinner nearby, you won't suffer — just go in with expectations set accordingly.

Midtown · Atlanta · Fine Dining
Prime on Peachtree has a wine list that's doing the bare minimum dressed up in fine-dining clothes. The markups are steep, the variety is thin once you strip out the duplicates, and the red wine section barely exists. If you're here for a special occasion, the Cave de Lugny is your honest move; everything else on the list is priced for the room, not for you.

Antica Posta earns a Wild Card for doing one thing with genuine conviction: assembling a Brunello di Montalcino selection that most Atlanta restaurants wouldn't attempt. It's not a balanced list, pricing data is opaque, and if you're looking for Barolo, Champagne, or anything outside Tuscany, you'll be reaching. But if you want to drink serious Sangiovese — Poggio di Sotto, Fuligni, Marroneto — in a room that clearly cares about it, this is the place to do it.

Café Lapin keeps it simple and mostly gets it right — a compact, French-leaning list with fair prices and a few genuinely smart picks tucked in. We'd send a friend here for wine without hesitation, especially if they're willing to venture past the California Chardonnays and into what this list actually does well.

Blackjack Bar Tapas runs one of the smallest wine lists we've come across in Atlanta, but it's hard to fully roast it — the four picks are genuinely considered. The markups are a little stiff across the board, and if you're hoping for a Spanish red to wash down your tapas, you're out of luck. But if you want a glass of zero-dosage Cava or an Oregon Pinot Gris at a bar that clearly has a point of view, this list delivers more than it has any right to.

Tam's BackStage is doing exactly what a neighborhood restaurant wine list should do: keep it accessible, keep the markup fair, and make sure almost everything is available by the glass. It's not going to win any awards for adventurousness, but the Crossings at $9 a pour and Centine at $39 a bottle give you genuine value in a list that could have coasted on Canyon Road alone. Send a friend here when they want a solid glass without a lesson.

1885 Grill Acworth plays it safe and mostly gets away with it — fair pricing on a short, approachable list that will keep the table happy without making anyone think too hard. If you're after a serious wine experience, keep driving; if you just want a solid glass with dinner in the suburbs, you'll leave without complaints.

Grinds & Wines is the kind of place Peachtree City genuinely needs — a locally owned room that takes wine seriously without making it precious. We'd feel comfortable sending a friend here for a date night or a quiet weeknight glass, especially given the menu's range from fish tacos to lamb chops. That said, we'd love to see the list published properly so we can give it the full treatment it likely deserves.
