Wingman Metrics
Glenn's Kitchen sits inside The Glenn Hotel in downtown Atlanta, and the wine list reads exactly like you'd expect from that address — safe, recognizable labels that aren't going to offend anyone or surprise anyone. About 40 bottles deep, it covers the familiar bases without much ambition.
The list leans heavily on California crowd-pleasers: Sonoma Cutrer, Justin Cab, Quilt in both Chardonnay and Cabernet, Belle Glos Pinot Noir. These are names you've seen on a hundred hotel menus, and that's kind of the point. There's a modest nod to Italy with Maso Canali Pinot Grigio and a Luigi Pira Langhe Nebbiolo that feels genuinely out of place — and we mean that as a compliment. The Dom Laporte Sancerre is the one white that hints at someone with taste making at least one decision. No serious Old World depth, no natural wine, no Southern producers to match the cuisine angle.
By-the-glass options aren't broken out separately in the available data, so we can't speak to the pour selection specifically. Given the list's structure and hotel context, expect a handful of the more familiar names available by the glass — but pour counts and pricing per glass are unconfirmed.
The Bottom Line
Glenn's Kitchen is a hotel bar wine list doing exactly what hotel bar wine lists do — keeping guests comfortable and margins healthy. The Luigi Pira Nebbiolo is a genuine bright spot worth seeking out, but this isn't a destination for wine. If you're staying at The Glenn or grabbing dinner nearby, you won't suffer — just go in with expectations set accordingly.

Midtown · Atlanta · Fine Dining
Prime on Peachtree has a wine list that's doing the bare minimum dressed up in fine-dining clothes. The markups are steep, the variety is thin once you strip out the duplicates, and the red wine section barely exists. If you're here for a special occasion, the Cave de Lugny is your honest move; everything else on the list is priced for the room, not for you.

Antica Posta earns a Wild Card for doing one thing with genuine conviction: assembling a Brunello di Montalcino selection that most Atlanta restaurants wouldn't attempt. It's not a balanced list, pricing data is opaque, and if you're looking for Barolo, Champagne, or anything outside Tuscany, you'll be reaching. But if you want to drink serious Sangiovese — Poggio di Sotto, Fuligni, Marroneto — in a room that clearly cares about it, this is the place to do it.

Café Lapin keeps it simple and mostly gets it right — a compact, French-leaning list with fair prices and a few genuinely smart picks tucked in. We'd send a friend here for wine without hesitation, especially if they're willing to venture past the California Chardonnays and into what this list actually does well.

Blackjack Bar Tapas runs one of the smallest wine lists we've come across in Atlanta, but it's hard to fully roast it — the four picks are genuinely considered. The markups are a little stiff across the board, and if you're hoping for a Spanish red to wash down your tapas, you're out of luck. But if you want a glass of zero-dosage Cava or an Oregon Pinot Gris at a bar that clearly has a point of view, this list delivers more than it has any right to.

Eight Sushi Lounge is a Wild Card for a reason: the ambition is real, even if the execution is uneven. The whites punch above their weight for this format, the Etna Bianco is a genuine find, and fifteen glass pours gives you room to explore without committing to a bottle. But the markup is steep across the board, the red selection is thin below the splurge tier, and dropping $450–$490 on Opus One in a sushi lounge is a leap of faith we wouldn't personally take. Come for the glass pours, leave the black card in your wallet.

Restaurant 356 is a quietly confident wine list that earns more respect the longer you look at it. The Alsatian whites and German reds alone make it worth a visit for anyone tired of the same 10 bottles that show up everywhere in Atlanta. We'd send a friend here specifically to drink the Carl Ehrhard Spätburgunder and feel smug about it.

1885 Grill Acworth plays it safe and mostly gets away with it — fair pricing on a short, approachable list that will keep the table happy without making anyone think too hard. If you're after a serious wine experience, keep driving; if you just want a solid glass with dinner in the suburbs, you'll leave without complaints.

· Peachtree City · New American/Southern
Grinds & Wines is the kind of place Peachtree City genuinely needs — a locally owned room that takes wine seriously without making it precious. We'd feel comfortable sending a friend here for a date night or a quiet weeknight glass, especially given the menu's range from fish tacos to lamb chops. That said, we'd love to see the list published properly so we can give it the full treatment it likely deserves.

Kindred is punching above its weight class with a white and sparkling program that most full-service wine bars would envy, all at prices that won't make you wince when the check arrives. The red selection is the weak link, but if you lean white, rosé, or bubbly — and many of us should — this list is worth your attention. Send your friends here and tell them to start with the Vermentino.
