The wine list at Outback Morgantown is exactly what you'd expect from a chain steakhouse in a strip mall off Venture Drive — a laminated page of household names you've seen at every grocery store checkout line. There's nothing here that suggests anyone spent more than 20 minutes assembling this program. It's wine as an afterthought, designed to move bottles, not excite anyone.

The list leans almost entirely on California commercial brands — J. Lohr, Sutter Home, Red Diamond, Mirassou — with La Marca Prosecco as the token Italian entry and some vague chain-level references to Australian Shiraz and French Bordeaux blends that may or may not actually show up on your server's printed sheet. There's no real regional exploration here, no independent producers, and nothing that would make a wine-curious diner lean forward. What you get is a greatest hits of supermarket shelves, assembled for familiarity rather than quality. The ceiling is low and the floor isn't much higher.

The by-the-glass program is as generic as it gets — House Red, House White, and a handful of varietal references (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Moscato, Pinot Grigio, Merlot) that aren't tied to specific producers on the menu. Prosecco is available by the glass, which is essentially La Marca in disguise.
