Wingman Metrics
The wine list arrives looking the part — glossy, confident, and stacked with names you recognize from every upscale steakhouse from here to Vegas. It's the kind of list that wants to impress you, and mostly does, though it leans hard on the reliable blockbusters rather than swinging for anything unexpected. For a room this glamorous, it's a respectable showing.
The 150-200 bottle list covers California heavyweights (Cakebread, Jordan, Far Niente, Silver Oak), French Champagne and Provence rosé, some Italian whites, and a smattering of New Zealand. The Meat Market White Cuvée and a house rosé from France are nice proprietary touches that suggest someone thought about this list beyond just checking boxes. That said, if you're hoping for a deep Burgundy rabbit hole or anything from Spain, Portugal, or Germany, you'll be disappointed — the list is built to sell comfortable, recognizable bottles to a crowd that wants to order without thinking too hard. It does that job well.
With 20-30 pours available by the glass, the program is genuinely generous for a steakhouse. The Domaine Ott By.Ott Rosé and Louis Roederer Brut Collection 243 Champagne anchor the top of the glass list with real credibility. The 2022 Trefethen Chardonnay is a solid mid-tier pick for those who want California Chardonnay without going full barrel-bomb.
2022 Trefethen Chardonnay, California — by the glass
Trefethen is a legitimately good Napa producer making restrained, food-friendly Chardonnay — not the buttered-popcorn stuff. In a room full of 150%+ markups on bottles, grabbing this by the glass lets you drink well without doing painful math.
2022 Prelius Vermentino, Italy
Nobody at a steakhouse is ordering Vermentino, which is exactly why you should. It's bright, saline, and cuts right through a rich raw bar spread or seafood starter. It's the most interesting white on the list and the one most people will walk right past.
Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label NV
At $155 a bottle — more than 2.5x retail — Veuve Clicquot is doing its usual restaurant markup duty. It's fine Champagne, but at this price in a steakhouse, you're paying entirely for the yellow label on the table. Spend the same money on the Louis Roederer or save it for beef.
Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley 2018 + Bone-in Ribeye
Silver Oak's Alexander Valley Cab is built for exactly this moment — it's got the structure to handle a heavily marbled bone-in ribeye but enough plush fruit to not fight the fat. Yes, $195 is a steep ask, but on a Monday it's $97.50, which suddenly makes it one of the better deals in the room.
Monday — Wine Mondays: 50% off all wine and Champagne bottles every Monday night. Reserve list bottles are excluded.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Meat Market Boca is a reliable wine destination for steakhouse standards — the list is deep enough to be interesting, the by-the-glass program is stronger than average, and Wine Mondays turn a steep list into a genuinely smart night out. Show up Tuesday through Sunday expecting to pay for the room; show up Monday and actually enjoy the wine.

Madison's wine list is the restaurant equivalent of a firm handshake — reliable, familiar, and unlikely to disappoint or impress. Send a friend here if they want a safe, solid bottle with a good steak; steer them elsewhere if they're looking for something to talk about.

Novello is the best Italian wine list in Boca Raton you're likely to find, and the BTG program alone is worth the trip. Just go in knowing the markups reflect the zip code, not a bargain hunter's paradise.

Downtown Boca Raton · Boca Raton · Italian, Sicilian
Savia is doing something genuinely uncommon in Boca Raton: building a wine list around a single region with real intention and credible producers. The markup stings and the list won't satisfy everyone, but if you care about Sicilian wine at all, this is the most interesting glass you'll find in the city.

Dorsia's wine list is exactly what it wants to be — polished, crowd-pleasing, and priced for a room that's spending freely. If you're after discovery or value, you'll have to work for it; if you're here for the scene and a great steak, Caymus and a Super Tuscan have you covered.

Louie Bossi's isn't going to win any awards for wine curation, but that daily half-price bottle program is a legitimate reason to show up. Order an entrée, pick strategically, and you'll drink better than the list price would ever suggest.

Bluefin is a solid spot for sushi and Thai food, but the wine list is an afterthought — overpriced commodity wines with no connection to the cuisine they're supposed to accompany. If you're coming here, order a sake or a cocktail and save the wine night for somewhere that cares.

Chop Chandler is cooking real food at real prices, and the wine list doesn't come close to keeping up. Order the steak, drink the Perrin or the Catena, and make peace with it.

CUT has the list, the staff, and the cellar to deliver a genuinely great wine experience — but the markup structure means you'll pay a Beverly Hills tax on almost every bottle you touch. Go in with eyes open, lean on the sommelier to find the relative values, and avoid anything you recognize from a supermarket shelf.

Local is a genuinely fun spot to eat and drink in Jackson Hole, but the wine list is coasting on tourist traffic and name-brand familiarity. Stick to the by-the-glass Italian pours, avoid anything on the bottle list that you'd recognize from a grocery store endcap, and you'll have a fine night.
