Wingman Metrics
The list at Madison's reads exactly like the restaurant looks — confident, comfortable, and not trying to reinvent anything. You know these wines. You've seen them before. That's the point.
California carries the room here, with Stag's Leap and Sonoma-Cutrer doing the heavy lifting on the prestige end. New Zealand checks in via Kim Crawford, and there's a nod to France and New York State, though neither goes very deep. What you won't find is anything that makes you lean forward — no grower Champagne, no esoteric Italian, no natural anything. This is a list built for the table that just wants something reliable with their New York strip, and it delivers on that promise without much ambition beyond it.
With 12-18 pours estimated, the glass program covers the major bases — a Chardonnay, a Cab, a Pinot, a Sauvignon Blanc — without much overlap or adventure. Rotation appears minimal; don't expect anything seasonal or surprising to show up. It gets the job done for a quick pour at the bar, but don't look for discovery here.
Sonoma-Cutrer Russian River Ranches Chardonnay — $15
One of California's more consistently honest Chards at this price tier — clean, restrained, and actually from somewhere meaningful. Better pick than most of what surrounds it on this list.
Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc
Yes, it's everywhere. But on a list this Cal-heavy, a crisp Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with the grilled salmon is quietly the smartest order at the table — and usually the least marked-up bottle in the room.
Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon
Stag's Leap is a fine producer, but at restaurant markup on a grill list in Boca, you're paying a prestige tax that doesn't land in your glass. The same $80-plus buys you something more interesting almost anywhere else.
Meiomi Pinot Noir + Grilled Salmon
Meiomi's soft, fruit-forward profile doesn't fight the salmon the way a bigger red would — it floats alongside it. It's not a complex pairing, but it's an easy, crowd-pleasing one that works every time.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Madison's wine list is the restaurant equivalent of a firm handshake — reliable, familiar, and unlikely to disappoint or impress. Send a friend here if they want a safe, solid bottle with a good steak; steer them elsewhere if they're looking for something to talk about.
North Boca Raton · Boca Raton · Italian Fine Dining
Novello is the best Italian wine list in Boca Raton you're likely to find, and the BTG program alone is worth the trip. Just go in knowing the markups reflect the zip code, not a bargain hunter's paradise.

Savia is doing something genuinely uncommon in Boca Raton: building a wine list around a single region with real intention and credible producers. The markup stings and the list won't satisfy everyone, but if you care about Sicilian wine at all, this is the most interesting glass you'll find in the city.

Meat Market Boca is a reliable wine destination for steakhouse standards — the list is deep enough to be interesting, the by-the-glass program is stronger than average, and Wine Mondays turn a steep list into a genuinely smart night out. Show up Tuesday through Sunday expecting to pay for the room; show up Monday and actually enjoy the wine.

Dorsia's wine list is exactly what it wants to be — polished, crowd-pleasing, and priced for a room that's spending freely. If you're after discovery or value, you'll have to work for it; if you're here for the scene and a great steak, Caymus and a Super Tuscan have you covered.

Louie Bossi's isn't going to win any awards for wine curation, but that daily half-price bottle program is a legitimate reason to show up. Order an entrée, pick strategically, and you'll drink better than the list price would ever suggest.

Bluefin is a solid spot for sushi and Thai food, but the wine list is an afterthought — overpriced commodity wines with no connection to the cuisine they're supposed to accompany. If you're coming here, order a sake or a cocktail and save the wine night for somewhere that cares.
