Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Louie Bossi's reads exactly like the restaurant looks — crowd-pleasing, familiar, and built for a good time rather than a deep dive. You're going to see names you recognize from every Italian-American spot in South Florida, which isn't a knock so much as a heads-up. The saving grace is that daily half-price bottles deal, which changes the math on almost everything here.
The list leans hard on recognizable labels — Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio, Caymus Cab, The Prisoner — the kind of wines that sell themselves because people already know them from their grocery store runs. The Italian focus is mostly implied by the restaurant concept rather than expressed through genuine regional depth; don't expect to find Etna Rosso or Vermentino tucked in here. There's a nod to special programming with Il Borro featured at a wine dinner event, which suggests someone in the building cares at least a little. But the day-to-day list plays it safe, and that's fine — this is a pizza and pasta joint in Boca, not a enoteca.
We couldn't pin down the full by-the-glass program from our research, which is a small frustration — a lively spot like this should be shouting its glass pours from the rooftop. What we can say is that with the half-price bottle deal running daily on bottles under $99 with an entrée purchase, splitting a bottle almost always beats a couple of glass pours on price anyway.
Pommery Brut Royal Champagne NV — $95
At full price it's a fair-ish 90% markup on a solid Champagne. But order it with an entrée and that bottle drops under $48 — actual Champagne at a pizza dinner for under fifty bucks is a move we fully endorse.
Pommery Brut Royal Champagne NV
Nobody's cracking Champagne at a casual Italian spot in Boca, which is exactly why you should. Pommery Brut Royal is a proper, food-friendly bubbly that holds its own against antipasti and woodfired pizza in a way that a Prosecco simply doesn't.
La Marca Prosecco NV
A 178% markup on a $14 retail bottle is a lot to ask for a wine you can grab at Publix on the way over. Even at half price it's barely a deal — there are better places to spend your money on this list.
Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio Alto Adige NV + Charcuterie and antipasti plates
Yes, Santa Margherita is the Applebee's of Italian whites — but it's crisp, clean, and genuinely good with salty cured meats and briny olives. Half-price brings it to under $30, which makes the predictable choice feel almost clever.
Daily — Half off all bottles of wine under $99 with the purchase of an entrée. An ongoing promotion at the Boca Raton location — great for dining on the piazza.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Louie Bossi's isn't going to win any awards for wine curation, but that daily half-price bottle program is a legitimate reason to show up. Order an entrée, pick strategically, and you'll drink better than the list price would ever suggest.
Boca Raton · Boca Raton · Modern Italian Steakhouse
Dorsia's wine list is exactly what it wants to be — polished, crowd-pleasing, and priced for a room that's spending freely. If you're after discovery or value, you'll have to work for it; if you're here for the scene and a great steak, Caymus and a Super Tuscan have you covered.

West Boca · Boca Raton · Japanese and Thai
Bluefin is a solid spot for sushi and Thai food, but the wine list is an afterthought — overpriced commodity wines with no connection to the cuisine they're supposed to accompany. If you're coming here, order a sake or a cocktail and save the wine night for somewhere that cares.

Maggiano's isn't where you go to discover wine — it's where you go to eat a mountain of pasta and not overthink the bottle. Come on a Tuesday, when half-price wine turns a steep list into a genuinely solid deal, and you'll leave happy.

La Ferme isn't a wine destination, but it's a genuinely solid French bistro wine program that respects the cuisine and doesn't gouge you for the privilege. If Tuesday's half-price bottle promotion is still running, it's one of the better midweek wine deals in Boca.

The Melting Pot Boca isn't a wine destination, but Wine Down Thursday flips the math enough to make it worth the trip if you're already coming for the fondue. Go on a Thursday, order the Riesling, and ignore the Caymus upsell.

J. Alexander's Boca Raton is a reliable, no-drama wine stop that won't embarrass you on a business dinner or a first date — just go in knowing the markups are real and steer toward Jordan or Sonoma-Cutrer instead of the list's cheaper options. We'd send a friend here for the steak, not the wine discovery.

Pasta Amore is a reliable neighborhood Italian with a wine list that plays it safe and marks things up accordingly — but Wednesday half-price bottles flip the value equation entirely and make this genuinely worth a visit. Come on a Wednesday, order the Ducale, and you've got a very solid night out.
