Thirteen bottles isn't a wine list — it's a wine edit, and Kitchen West Palm leans into that with some genuinely smart choices. The range runs from a $33 Friuli Pinot Grigio to a $120 Casanova di Neri Brunello, which tells you someone here is paying attention. It's compact, but it doesn't feel lazy.
The white side holds its own with a Flowers Sonoma Chardonnay, the quirky inclusion of a Blanc Du Castel from Jerusalem's Haute Judée appellation, and a proper Muscadet from Domaine Ménard-Geborit — that's not a wine you see on most South Florida lists. The red lineup punches above its weight too: Ridge Lytton Spring, a Villadoria Barolo from Serralunga d'Alba, and the Casanova di Neri Brunello give serious drinkers something to order. Two Napa Cabs feel slightly obligatory — the Louis M Martini and Trefethen are perfectly fine but predictable anchors in an otherwise more interesting list. The Banshee Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara fills the middle-tier red slot without embarrassing itself.

If they're pulling glasses from this list, the Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc and Forever Summer Rosé are the safe bets for house pours. Ridge Lytton Spring Red Blend 2023 — $60
Ridge Lytton Spring regularly retails for $45–55, so the markup here is minimal for a restaurant setting. This is a field blend from Dry Creek Valley that has no business being this affordable on a restaurant list — structured, complex, and built to age. Order it.
Domaine Ménard-Geborit Muscadet 2020
Muscadet gets ignored everywhere, and especially in Florida where people reach for the Sauv Blanc. This is a mistake. Ménard-Geborit makes serious sur lie Muscadet with real texture and minerality — at $45 it's the most interesting white on the list that nobody will order.
Louis M Martini Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
At $65, you're paying restaurant markup on a widely distributed commercial Cab that retails for $25–30. The Trefethen next to it at $59 is the better Napa Cab on this list — more distinctive and a fairer deal.
Blanc Du Castel Jérusalem - Haute Judée Chardonnay 2019 + Roasted chicken or any white-meat entrée
The Blanc Du Castel is a full-bodied, barrel-influenced Chardonnay from Israel's Judean Hills — it has the richness to stand up to roasted meats without overwhelming lighter preparations. It's also the most conversation-starting bottle on the list, which is half the fun.
The Bottom Line
Kitchen West Palm has no business having the Casanova di Neri Brunello and the Ménard-Geborit Muscadet on the same 13-bottle list — and yet here we are. It's small, priced fairly, and clearly curated by someone who actually drinks wine. Send a friend, order the Ridge.
