Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Hollywood's fits on a cocktail napkin — eight bottles, all available by the glass, priced between $7.95 and $8.50. It reads less like a curated program and more like someone called a distributor and said 'just send us something.' To their credit, the prices are low enough that the stakes feel appropriately casual.
Eight wines covering Italy, South Africa, Washington, California, and the Danube region sounds more adventurous than it is — these are all high-volume, entry-level labels chosen for inoffensiveness, not character. The Côte Du Danube is the only real curiosity on the list, though it's not exactly a deep cut for wine explorers. There's no Pinot Noir, no rosé, no sparkling option, and the depth stops at 'red or white.' This is a wine list that exists because restaurants are supposed to have one.
Every single bottle on the list is available by the glass, which is the right call given the price point and the clientele. At $7.95–$8.50 a pour, you're not going to cry about it even if the wine is forgettable. Rotation appears nonexistent — this list has the energy of something that hasn't changed since Obama's first term.
Chateau Ste. Michelle Harvest Select Riesling — $7.95
Chateau Ste. Michelle is genuinely one of Washington's most consistent producers, and their off-dry Riesling punches above its weight. At under eight bucks a glass, it's the one pour here that could surprise you.
Six Hats Sauvignon Blanc
South African Sauvignon Blanc is an underrated category — often delivering the zip of Marlborough at a fraction of the price and hype. Most people at a Williamson Road diner aren't ordering it, which means you might actually get a fresh pour.
901 Summit Cabernet
Generic California Cab at a neighborhood bakery-restaurant is almost always a bulk-wine situation, and nothing about '901 Summit' suggests otherwise. Order the Riesling instead.
Chateau Ste. Michelle Harvest Select Riesling + House-made soup
An off-dry Riesling is one of the most food-flexible wines on the planet — its gentle sweetness and bright acidity cut through creamy, savory broths without fighting the dish. It's the move here.
❌ The Bottom Line
Hollywood's is a genuinely charming neighborhood spot, and the wine list is exactly what it needs to be for a casual lunch crowd — cheap, safe, and inoffensive. Don't come here for the wine; come here for the soup, and order the Riesling if you want something in your glass.

TGI Friday's Roanoke is a fine place to grab a beer or a Jack and Coke, but the wine program is a corporate afterthought with steep markups on bottom-shelf bottles. Order a cocktail, save the wine for somewhere that gives a damn.

Shakers isn't a wine destination — it's a reliable neighborhood spot where the wine program does its job without drama. If you're here for ribs and a casual pour, you'll leave satisfied; just don't show up expecting discovery.

Abuelo's wine list exists to check a box, not to enhance your dinner — stick to the cocktails and revisit this list never. If someone at your table insists on wine, go Joel Gott and call it a night.

The markups are honest and the Mollydooker pour is a genuine saving grace, but this list exists to check a corporate box, not to help you drink well. Order the Mollydooker with your steak, skip any bottle over $40, and keep your expectations calibrated to the Bloomin' Onion energy of the room.

The Pine Room is a great spot for a drink and a burger in a handsome historic room, but the wine list is an afterthought in a state with a legitimate wine culture worth showcasing. Order a cocktail or ask for whatever's on tap, and don't make a trip here specifically for the wine.

On the Rise is a genuinely charming spot for baked goods and brunch, but its wine program is an afterthought with three options and zero depth. Order the bread, skip the wine list, and grab a coffee instead.

Chili's Yuma is a place to drink a margarita and eat fajitas, and there is absolutely no shame in that. Just don't come here for the wine — order a cocktail, enjoy your ribs, and save the bottle of wine for somewhere that actually cares.

Tippecanoe Place is a beautiful room with a wine list that plays it very, very safe — fine for a anniversary dinner where the ambiance is doing most of the work, but don't come here expecting the wine to match the architecture. Order the Jordan, enjoy the mansion, and leave the exploration for another night.

The Heathman isn't going to make you rethink your relationship with wine, but it's a genuinely decent hotel list anchored by wines worth drinking — and the Monday/Wednesday half-price bottle deal turns a steep markup into something actually worth your time. Show up on a deal night, order the Col Solare, and you'll leave happy.
