Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Fogo de Chão Coral Gables is built for volume, not adventure — 46 labels weighted heavily toward approachable, recognizable names that move fast in a high-traffic churrascaria. It gets the job done, but don't come here expecting to discover anything you haven't seen at a grocery store end cap.
The list skews South American, which makes sense given the concept — Malbec from Catena, Jorjão by Zuccardi, and Alamos anchor the red side, while Bodega Garzón's Albariño is the lone interesting outlier on whites. Beyond that, it's mostly California and Italian crowd-pleasers: Meiomi Pinot Noir, Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio, Emmolo Sauvignon Blanc. The Eulila by VIK Red Blend from Chile at least hints at ambition. There are no serious Old World bottles in the data we have, no Tempranillo to speak of, and the sparkling section leans on Nicolas Feuillatte and La Marca — safe, sellable, forgettable.
Thirty-seven by-the-glass options is a staggering number for a steakhouse, and the range from $10 to $42 per glass covers a wide spread. The $10 entry tier — Natura Chardonnay, Natura Rosé, Alamos Malbec, The Seeker Red Blend — is fine for the price, but the jump to $18–$29 for Meiomi or Nicolas Feuillatte feels steep given what you're actually getting. The sheer volume of BTG options is the list's biggest selling point.
The Bottom Line
Fogo de Chão Coral Gables is a reliable wine stop in the sense that you won't go thirsty, and the massive by-the-glass program means you'll find something drinkable without committing to a bottle. But the markups lean steep on the upper tier, and the list doesn't ask much of you — or itself. Stick to the Garzón Albariño or a Zuccardi Malbec, skip the Champagne, and put your real attention on the meat.

Perry's Coral Gables is a reliable, well-stocked steakhouse wine list that serves its audience exactly what they came for — big California Cabs at premium prices in a premium room. If you're after adventure, look elsewhere; if you're after a proper bottle of Napa with a proper piece of beef, this delivers.

Daniel's is the real deal — a Wine Spectator-credentialed Italian program with genuine depth in Piedmont and Tuscany, a knowledgeable sommelier on the floor, and a list that rewards the curious drinker. The markups will sting, but if you're eating Italian in Coral Gables and care about what's in your glass, there's nowhere else to go.

· Austin · Brazilian Steakhouse
Fogo de Chão Austin is not a destination wine list, but it's a legitimately fair one — South American focus, honest prices, and a couple of genuine steals hiding in plain sight. If you're here for the espeto corrido experience, grab a VIK blend at $30 and don't overthink it.

· Lynnwood · Brazilian Steakhouse
Fogo de Chão Lynnwood's wine list is exactly what you'd expect from a polished chain steakhouse: broad, safe, and priced to capture rather than to impress. The South American anchors give it a reason to exist beyond the generic, and the sheer volume of by-the-glass options means most tables will find something that works. We'd send a friend here for the Garzón Albariño or the Zuccardi Malbec — just don't come expecting to be surprised.

· San Juan · Brazilian Steakhouse
For a chain steakhouse, the wine pricing here is genuinely refreshing — nearly everything sits under $36/bottle, and there's enough quality across the Malbec and white wine selections to drink well without overthinking it. If you're coming for the meat, the list does its job. Just don't show up expecting depth beyond the Southern Cone.
