Wingman Metrics
Fish Thyme presents itself as a polished, occasion-ready neighborhood seafood spot — the kind of place where the food clearly gets the attention and the wine list is there to support the meal rather than steal the show. At $18–$31 for entrees, this is serious enough to expect a thoughtful pour alongside that Horseradish Encrusted Grouper. Whether the list delivers on that expectation is harder to say without a menu in hand.
Our sourcing on the wine program here is thin — we couldn't pull a verified bottle list, so we're not going to pretend otherwise. What the restaurant's vibe suggests is a list built around crowd-pleasing, food-friendly whites and reds: California Chardonnays, maybe a Pinot Grigio or two, and approachable reds for the steak-adjacent guests who wander into a seafood restaurant and order the wrong thing. We'd expect some coastal whites — Sauvignon Blanc, maybe a Albariño if someone cared — but we can't confirm that without seeing the actual list. Until we can get eyes on it, treat this as a wine-as-afterthought setup and let the food lead.
Glass pour options are unknown from our current research, so we're not going to guess at counts or call out specific pours. For a spot at this price point, you'd typically hope for five to eight by-the-glass options with at least a couple of whites that actually make sense next to fresh fish. We'll update this when we can verify the list directly.
The Bottom Line
Fish Thyme earns a Reliable badge on the strength of its reputation as a legit neighborhood seafood destination — the food sounds genuinely good, and the atmosphere is right for a proper dinner out. But we don't have enough verified wine data to give you confident bottle-by-bottle advice, so check the list when you arrive, lean toward whites, and ask your server what's open and drinking well that night.
· Alpharetta · Seafood
Ocean & Acre isn't trying to be a wine destination, but the list punches above its weight for a suburban seafood spot — fair markups, a thoughtful glass program, and a few genuinely interesting picks tucked in alongside the crowd-pleasers. If you're eating seafood in Alpharetta and want a decent bottle without getting gouged, this is your place.

Mac's Raw Bar could have stocked the usual suspects — Kendall-Jackson, Santa Margherita, done — and nobody would have blinked. Instead they built a tight, seafood-smart list anchored by Muscadet, Albariño, and Chablis, with fair prices across the board. If you're eating oysters in Marietta, this is where you want to be drinking.

Six Feet Under isn't trying to be a wine destination, and it doesn't pretend to be — but the pricing is fair, nearly everything pours by the glass, and the Cava and Calafuria Rosé give you honest options that actually make sense with seafood. If you're here for the food and want something decent in your glass without overthinking it, this list does the job.
