Wingman Metrics
DJT sits inside the Trump International Hotel on the Vegas Strip, which tells you most of what you need to know before you even open the wine list. The room is polished and the expectations are high — but hotel dining in this tier rarely channels that energy into a wine program worth getting excited about.
Based on what we can piece together, the list leans toward safe, recognizable regions — think Champagne, California's Paso Robles and Monterey, and a nod to Virginia that reads more like a curiosity than a commitment. That's a range that checks boxes for the resort crowd without taking any real swings. There's no evidence of a deep cellar, rotating producers, or any serious attempt to surprise guests who actually care about what's in their glass. It's wine as amenity, not wine as destination.
By-the-glass details aren't publicly documented in enough detail to make specific calls here. In hotel restaurants at this price point, you typically get a short, safe pour list that skews toward crowd-pleasing California bottles — nothing that's going to make you rethink anything.
The Bottom Line
DJT is a fine place to eat a filet mignon or a well-executed lamb dish in a comfortable room. But if wine is the reason you're sitting down, this isn't the stop. The list appears to serve the hotel, not the guest — and in Las Vegas, where genuinely great wine programs are closer than you think, that's a hard sell.
· Las Vegas · Italian, Wine Bar
L'Aperitivo is the best wine argument for eating at Eataly Las Vegas: an all-Italian, all-by-the-glass list with genuine depth at the entry level and a few serious bottles for when the mood shifts. Markup is fair by Strip standards, the selection has a point of view, and the $15 Vermentino alone justifies a stop. If you're in the building and want a glass of wine that actually reflects where it came from, pull up a seat.

Caesars Palace · Las Vegas · French Fine Dining
This is where you come when wine matters as much as the food. The markup is Vegas-steep, but the cellar is world-class and the staff can navigate it. If you're celebrating big or chasing rare French bottles, this is the room.

Lamaii is the rare Las Vegas restaurant where the wine list reflects a genuine point of view — the grower Champagne program alone is worth the visit. Send a friend here and tell them to order a Spécial Club.

STK Las Vegas is a bottle-list business masquerading as a wine program — three by-the-glass pours, a roster of safe California hits, and Vegas markups that'll make your eyes water. Order the Whispering Angel at happy hour, grab a bottle of Belle Glos if you're feeling generous, and save the real wine exploration for somewhere that cares.

Diner Ross is doing something genuinely weird and kind of wonderful — a Champagne-forward list inside a Vegas diner is a wild card move that mostly works. Just don't show up expecting range beyond bubbles, and go for the growers before you default to the celebrity bottles.

The Palm Las Vegas is an unlikely wine discovery — a six-bottle natural and old-world-leaning list tucked inside a steakhouse institution, priced like someone forgot they're on the Strip. Don't sleep on it.

· Chula Vista · American
Yard House Chula Vista's wine list is what happens when wine is an afterthought at a beer-forward chain — familiar labels, steep markups, and zero sense of discovery. If you're here for the 130+ beers on draft, you're in the right place; if you came for the wine, grab the Jean-Luc Colombo rosé and manage expectations accordingly.

· Yountville · American
RH Yountville is a genuinely beautiful place to drink wine — the room earns that much on atmosphere alone, and the California-forward list will keep most guests happy without any friction. But in Yountville, where the competition includes some of the most serious wine programs in the country, 'happy without friction' isn't the same as memorable. Go for the experience, order confidently by region, and don't expect the list to surprise you.

· Bakersfield · American
Yard House Bakersfield is a beer hall that happens to sell wine, and the list makes no effort to hide that. Markups are aggressive, selections are safe to the point of being anonymous, and the only reason to open a bottle here is if your table voted against another round of IPAs. If you're wine-focused, redirect your budget to the Jean-Luc Colombo Rosé by the glass and call it a night.
