Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Connors reads exactly like you'd expect from a suburban steakhouse that knows its audience: big California reds, familiar names, and not a lot of surprises. Forty-four labels is a respectable number, but the emphasis here is comfort and recognition over discovery. If you came in hoping to find a grower Champagne or an obscure Ribera del Duero, you're in the wrong place.
The list leans heavily on California Cabernet and its friends — Caymus in both standard ($133/bottle) and Special Selection ($289/bottle) forms, Silver Oak Alexander Valley ($129/bottle), Joseph Phelps Napa ($139/bottle), and the inevitable Opus One ($499/bottle) sitting at the top like a trophy. Outside the Cab-and-Bordeaux-blend lane, there are some nods to diversity: Castello D'Albola Chianti Classico ($54/bottle), Les Cadrans de Lassègue Saint-Émilion ($75/bottle), Mollydooker The Boxer Shiraz ($55/bottle), and a couple of Prisoner Wine Co. bottles for the crowd that's graduated past 14 Hands but isn't ready for Jordan. Merlot gets its own section with Ferrari-Carano Sonoma ($54/bottle) and Drumheller Columbia Valley ($46/bottle), which is a reasonable nod to the category. Old World depth is thin — one Chianti and one Saint-Émilion satellite do not a global list make.
Twenty-eight by-the-glass options is genuinely strong for a steakhouse of this size, running from $9 to $24 a pour. The glass program mirrors the bottle list — California-forward, crowd-pleasing, and accessible — with options like Michael David Earthquake ($17/glass), Quilt Napa Valley ($20/glass), and The Prisoner Wine Company Saldo Zinfandel ($18/glass) giving guests real choices without committing to a bottle. Rotation and seasonal updates are unclear, but the sheer count means you won't be stuck with two sad options.
The Bottom Line
Connors is a reliable steakhouse wine list that does its job without embarrassing itself or dazzling anyone. The by-the-glass count is a genuine bright spot, markups are steep but consistent with the category, and the selection covers the bases its clientele expects. Send a friend here if they want a solid glass of California Cab with their ribeye — just don't send them expecting anything they haven't already seen.

· Alpharetta · Steakhouse
The Butcher and Bottle isn't trying to be a wine destination — it's a steakhouse with a sensible, well-priced list that keeps things moving. The near-total by-the-glass program is genuinely smart, and the pricing is fairer than most places in this category. If you want adventure, look elsewhere; if you want a reliable Cab with your ribeye at a price that won't ruin the evening, this works.

· Alpharetta · Wine Bar
CRU is a perfectly serviceable wine bar if you like California classics and don't mind paying for the reputation on the label. The list won't surprise you, and that's exactly the point — but don't come here looking for natural wine, deep Burgundy, or anything that requires a passport beyond Napa Valley. If you're in Alpharetta and want a glass of Silver Oak without a long drive, CRU delivers.

· Alpharetta · Wine and Cigar Bar
Wine Me Down earns points for carving out a genuinely different kind of night out in Alpharetta — cigars, hookah, and wine together in one stylish room is not a combination you find everywhere in the suburbs. But until we can get a real look at the wine list with actual bottles and prices, we can't send you here specifically for the wine. Go for the atmosphere, bring cash for the cigars, and keep your wine expectations flexible.

Fermented Flight Club is doing something genuinely unusual in the Atlanta suburbs: building a wine program around obscurity as a feature, not a flaw. If you've ever wanted to try Nascetta, Marzemino, or a co-fermented red-white without flying to Italy or paying fine-dining prices, this is your spot. We'd send a curious friend here without hesitation — and tell them to let the Four Blind flight humble them a little.

Alpharetta · Alpharetta · Modern Italian
Colletta's wine list punches well above its suburban strip-mall expectations — an all-Italian program with genuine depth in whites and a sparkling section worth lingering over. The markup is honest, the by-the-glass count is generous, and the producers skew toward the interesting rather than the obvious. If you're eating here, skip the red and let the white Italian side of the list do the work.

· Alpharetta · Italian Steakhouse
Luci's isn't going to win any wine destination awards, but the by-the-glass program is unusually broad, markup is fair across most of the list, and there are a few genuinely good picks tucked in among the crowd-pleasers. If you're eating here, you can drink well — just know what to order and what to skip.

· West Palm Beach · Steakhouse
Ruth's Chris West Palm Beach delivers exactly what the brand promises: a safe, accessible wine list built around familiar producers and crowd-pleasing styles. The all-by-the-glass format is a genuine plus, and a few selections like the Siduri Willamette Pinot and Chalk Hill Chardonnay are worth your time — but markups are steep and the list won't reward curiosity. If you're here for the steak, you'll find something to drink; just don't expect the wine to be the reason you came.

· Charlotte · Steakhouse
The Palm Charlotte's wine list is a six-bottle natural wine curio hiding inside a chain steakhouse, and it's more interesting than it has any right to be. The Crochet Sancerre at $23 alone is worth the detour. Don't expect breadth, staff guidance, or a by-the-glass program worth writing home about — but if you know what you're looking at, this short list punches well above its weight.

Riverwalk · San Antonio · Steakhouse
Brenner's on the Riverwalk punches above the average tourist-strip steakhouse — 159 labels with real dessert wine depth and some genuine international range is nothing to dismiss. Pricing is likely steep given the location, and the list skews traditional, but if you know what you're looking for, there's something worth ordering here. Go in with a plan, skip the obvious bottles, and don't leave without looking at the dessert wine section.
