Wingman Metrics
The wine list lands on the table like a small novel β 300-plus labels, heavy on Italy, clearly curated by someone who actually cares. This is white-tablecloth Boca, so expectations are high, and the list mostly earns them. The Italian depth here is legitimately impressive for South Florida, where big lists often mean big Napa and not much else.
Tuscany is the star β Super Tuscans like Sassicaia and Tignanello anchor the list alongside serious Brunello di Montalcino and Barolo from Piedmont, giving you a proper tour of Italy's prestige appellations rather than a highlight reel. Veneto shows up with Amarone della Valpolicella, and Napa Valley rounds out the international piece for the crowd that needs a California comfort bottle. What's notable is the range within regions β this isn't just trophy hunting, there's evident thought given to both the collector and the curious diner. The gap, if there is one, is anywhere outside Italy and California β don't come looking for a Burgundy deep cut or a RhΓ΄ne discovery.
Twenty to thirty glass pours is a generous program for a restaurant this size, with a price range of $15β$30 that spans casual-aperitivo to legitimately interesting. A sommelier on staff means the glass list isn't just the stuff they couldn't sell by the bottle β there's intention here. If you're doing a multi-course pasta dinner, you can absolutely drink well pour-by-pour without committing to a full bottle.
Amarone della Valpolicella β $50+
Amarone is one of Italy's most labor-intensive wines β dried-grape concentration, long aging, the works β and on a list this well-stocked, it tends to be priced more fairly than the Tuscan trophies. It's the move for someone who wants power and complexity without paying the Sassicaia premium.
Barolo
Everyone's eyes go straight to Sassicaia and Tignanello because the names are recognizable. Meanwhile, the Barolo selections from Piedmont sit there largely ignored by the Boca crowd. Nebbiolo at the table, especially alongside a braised meat, is exactly what this food is built for β and it's often the better conversation starter.
Sassicaia Bolgheri
It's a great wine. Nobody's arguing that. But Sassicaia is also one of the most recognized β and therefore most marked-up β bottles in any Italian restaurant in America. You're paying for the name as much as the juice, and at a Steep-markup house like this one, the gap between what you pay and what you get is widest here. There are better values on this very list.
Tignanello Toscana + Osso Buco
Tignanello is a Sangiovese-Cabernet blend with enough structure to cut through the richness of braised veal shank and enough dark fruit to echo the depth of the sauce. It's a classic Italian pairing logic β bold food, bold wine, both from the same cultural universe β and it actually delivers.
π₯ The Bottom Line
Casa D'Angelo is one of the strongest Italian wine programs in South Florida β deep, focused, and staffed by people who know what they're selling. The markups are real, so pick your battles, but this is genuinely a list worth exploring.
Unknown Β· Boca Raton Β· Upscale Casual Grill
Madison's wine list is the restaurant equivalent of a firm handshake β reliable, familiar, and unlikely to disappoint or impress. Send a friend here if they want a safe, solid bottle with a good steak; steer them elsewhere if they're looking for something to talk about.

Novello is the best Italian wine list in Boca Raton you're likely to find, and the BTG program alone is worth the trip. Just go in knowing the markups reflect the zip code, not a bargain hunter's paradise.

Savia is doing something genuinely uncommon in Boca Raton: building a wine list around a single region with real intention and credible producers. The markup stings and the list won't satisfy everyone, but if you care about Sicilian wine at all, this is the most interesting glass you'll find in the city.

Meat Market Boca is a reliable wine destination for steakhouse standards β the list is deep enough to be interesting, the by-the-glass program is stronger than average, and Wine Mondays turn a steep list into a genuinely smart night out. Show up Tuesday through Sunday expecting to pay for the room; show up Monday and actually enjoy the wine.

Dorsia's wine list is exactly what it wants to be β polished, crowd-pleasing, and priced for a room that's spending freely. If you're after discovery or value, you'll have to work for it; if you're here for the scene and a great steak, Caymus and a Super Tuscan have you covered.

Louie Bossi's isn't going to win any awards for wine curation, but that daily half-price bottle program is a legitimate reason to show up. Order an entrΓ©e, pick strategically, and you'll drink better than the list price would ever suggest.
