Walking into BarnDiva, the wine list feels like the room itself — curated, a little precious, very Healdsburg. It's Sonoma-heavy in a way that makes sense given the address, but don't expect to be surprised. This is confident wine country comfort, not a list trying to impress a New York import buyer.
The list leans hard into its backyard, anchoring around Sonoma County names that range from genuinely excellent (Williams Selyem, Littorai) to crowd-friendly and safe (Aperture Cellars). Dry Creek Zinfandel shows up via Mauritson, which is a smart local call. The geographic range is narrow — California dominates, and Old World options appear to be limited or token — so if you came to Healdsburg hoping to dig into a Burgundy or a stray Ribera del Duero, you're in the wrong zip code. For what it is — a farm-to-table bistro surrounded by the producers on its list — it works, but it doesn't push.
The by-the-glass program runs an estimated 10–16 options, which is a reasonable range for a room this size. Pours sit in the $16–$24 window, which is par for Healdsburg but still stings when you're on your third glass of a Pinot that retails for $35. Rotation isn't well-documented, so don't count on the list evolving much season to season.
Mauritson Dry Creek Zinfandel — $55
Dry Creek Zin is one of California's most undervalued appellations, and Mauritson knows the land. If it's sitting at the lower end of the bottle range here, it's your most honest pour on the list — full, spiced, and built for the food coming out of this kitchen.
Littorai Pinot Noir
Most tables here default to the Williams Selyem because the name lands. Littorai is quieter, more precise, and arguably more interesting — Ted Lemon's whole-cluster approach gives it a tension that holds up across courses rather than front-loading everything on the first sip.
Aperture Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon
Aperture has done a good job building a brand, but at restaurant markup it's paying for the label more than the juice. You're deep in Pinot and Zin country here — ordering a Cab feels like ordering a steak at a sushi restaurant. Technically possible, never the move.
Littorai Pinot Noir + Artisanal charcuterie and cheese board
The acidity and earthy restraint in Littorai's Pinot cuts through cured meat fat and plays off aged cheese without overpowering the delicate stuff. It's the kind of pairing where the wine and the board just keep handing off to each other.

BarnDiva is exactly what it looks like: a stylish, Sonoma-proud wine list that takes no risks and charges Healdsburg prices for the privilege. Send a friend here for a relaxed glass of something local — just tell them to skip the Cab.

Hazel Hill is legitimately one of the better resort wine programs in California wine country — deep list, proper staff, and a setting that earns the splurge. The markups are real and the vibe is unabashedly luxe, but if you're already in Healdsburg, this is worth the stop.
