Walking into Jordan's French-inspired chateau, the wine list is basically a one-page love letter to Alexander Valley Cabernet and Russian River Chardonnay — and it makes no apologies for that. This isn't a place that's trying to impress you with breadth; it's betting everything on depth within a tight, well-executed portfolio. The setting does a lot of heavy lifting, and honestly, it earns it.
Jordan's list is exactly as narrow as you'd expect from a single-estate tasting room: Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Russian River Valley Chardonnay, J by Jordan Sparkling, and library Cabernet pours for those willing to spend up. There are no outside producers, no guest bottles, no regional wildcards — this is pure brand immersion, executed with polish. The library tasting is where the list gets genuinely interesting, offering access to older vintages of the Cabernet that you simply can't find at retail. The gap is obvious — if you're not a Cab person, the list offers very little room to wander.
Traditional by-the-glass programs don't really apply here — you're buying into a tasting experience, not ordering off a bar menu. The Estate Tour & Tasting and the Library Tasting structure your pours around a curated flight rather than individual glass orders. It works for the format, but if you wanted to grab just a glass of Chardonnay and call it an afternoon, this isn't set up for that.
Jordan Russian River Valley Chardonnay — $40
At the entry-level tasting price point, the Chardonnay is the most accessible pour and gives you a genuine read on what Jordan does well — restrained, food-friendly, not over-oaked. It's the honest value anchor in an otherwise premium-priced experience.
Jordan Library Cabernet Sauvignon
Most visitors book the standard estate tasting and never look at the library option. That's a mistake. These older vintages of the Alexander Valley Cab show you what the wine becomes with some age on it — more complexity, more nuance — and it's the only way to access them outside of a private cellar.
J by Jordan Sparkling Wine
At these tasting experience price points, the J by Jordan Sparkling feels like a warm-up act getting top billing. It's a fine California bubbly, but it's the least distinctive pour in the lineup and adds cost to an already expensive afternoon without meaningfully elevating it.
