Wingman Metrics
Twelve wines, every single one available by the glass — Bar.bacoa isn't trying to be a wine destination, but it's also not phoning it in. The list has a clear point of view: lean into the Spanish-Latin identity of the kitchen, keep prices honest, and don't make anyone work too hard to order a second glass.
The list skews appropriately Iberian — two Tempranillos (Radio Boca and Gota de Arena), a Martin Codex Albariño, and Codorníu Brut Cava give the list some genuine regional backbone. Beyond Spain, there's Malbec and Cabernet from South America to round out the reds, plus a Rosé Garnacha that fits the concept well. The whites lean a bit generic with Art of Earth Pinot Grigio and Raeburn Chardonnay, but those are crowd-pleasing anchors rather than embarrassing choices. What's missing is depth — no aged bottles, no producers that'll make a wine-focused diner stop and look twice.
All 12 bottles pour by the glass, which is a genuine win for a casual spot at this price point. Pours range from $9 to $12, with the Codorníu Brut Cava and Radio Boca Tempranillo sitting at the lower end — both solid picks that won't bruise your wallet. There's no rotation or featured glass program that we can identify, so what you see on the menu is what you'll get on every visit.
The Bottom Line
Bar.bacoa keeps it simple and mostly gets it right — fair prices, a by-the-glass program that covers the whole list, and just enough Spanish character to feel intentional. This isn't a destination wine list, but it's an honest one. If you're in Virginia-Highland and want a glass of Cava or Albariño without overpaying, this is a reliable call.

Fellaship.ATL's wine list is one of the thinnest we've seen at a restaurant positioning itself as fine dining — five anonymous wines with no producers, no regions, and vintages that suggest the list hasn't been touched in years. The pricing won't break you, but there's genuinely no reason to think hard about what to order. Stick to cocktails and check back if they ever decide to invest in the program.

Campagnolo isn't trying to be a wine bar, and it doesn't need to be — the white and sparkling selections are genuinely solid for a midtown Italian spot. We'd steer toward the Albariño or the Fouassier Sancerre, skip the generic Chardonnay, and keep expectations calibrated: this is a food-first room with a wine list that supports the meal rather than steals the show.

Boone's is a steakhouse built on consistency and occasion, and the wine program almost certainly reflects that: safe, classic, and priced for a room where nobody's splitting the tab. We'd love to dig into a full sourced list before making specific bottle calls — until then, come for the dry-aged ribeye, bring someone else's credit card, and don't expect the wine list to be the reason you return.

Roshambo isn't trying to be a wine destination, but it's putting in real effort — fair markups, a deep by-the-glass program, and a few genuinely interesting bottles mixed in with the crowd-pleasers. If you're eating here, skip the Moët, pour the Keplinger, and thank whoever curated the whites. A solid, trustworthy list that earns a return visit.

Polaris plays it safe and charges fine dining prices to do it — the Caymus at $250 is the headline, but the broader markups tell the same story. If you want a generous glass program with names you trust and don't feel like gambling on an unfamiliar bottle, this works. But if you're hoping the wine list matches the ambition of the room, you'll leave a little underwhelmed.

Glenn's Kitchen is a hotel bar wine list doing exactly what hotel bar wine lists do — keeping guests comfortable and margins healthy. The Luigi Pira Nebbiolo is a genuine bright spot worth seeking out, but this isn't a destination for wine. If you're staying at The Glenn or grabbing dinner nearby, you won't suffer — just go in with expectations set accordingly.

Suwanee Social's wine list is built for accessibility, not adventure — and within that lane, it mostly delivers. Fair pricing, an exceptional by-the-glass count, and the Albariño and Cava as genuine bright spots make this a comfortable neighborhood pick. Just don't come here expecting a list that matches the ambition of the cuisine.

Don Quixote gets more right than wrong: fair prices, a by-the-glass program that actually rewards exploration, and enough Spanish DNA in the list to feel intentional. Trim the grocery-store filler, lean harder into the Iberian producers, and this list goes from solid to genuinely exciting. For now, it's a reliable neighborhood find worth a visit — just order the Albariño or the Cava and let the small plates do the rest.

Blackjack Bar Tapas runs one of the smallest wine lists we've come across in Atlanta, but it's hard to fully roast it — the four picks are genuinely considered. The markups are a little stiff across the board, and if you're hoping for a Spanish red to wash down your tapas, you're out of luck. But if you want a glass of zero-dosage Cava or an Oregon Pinot Gris at a bar that clearly has a point of view, this list delivers more than it has any right to.
