Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Suwanee Social is approachable by design — 31 labels, nearly all available by the glass, and priced in a range that won't cause sticker shock. It reads like a list built for the suburban dinner crowd: familiar names, easy decisions, no intimidation factor.
The white wine side of things dominates — four Chardonnays, four Sauvignon Blancs, a couple of Pinot Grigios — and the heavy lean toward California and New Zealand is hard to miss. There's a nod to Spain with the Abadía Albariño and the Casa del Mar Cava, which is the most interesting corner of the list given the restaurant's Spanish/Latin identity. Reds are nearly absent from the data we have, with just the Line 39 and Bonanza Cabernets accounted for, which suggests the list skews heavily toward white and sparkling drinkers. A broader red selection — even a Tempranillo or Garnacha to match the cuisine — would make this list feel much more intentional.
Twenty-nine of 31 bottles are available by the glass, which is genuinely impressive and makes this a strong spot for table groups that can't agree on a bottle. Glass pours run $10–$20, with the $10 entry points (Line 39 across the board, Stella Moscato, Casa del Mar Cava) giving budget-conscious drinkers real options. The glass program is the clear strength here.
The Bottom Line
Suwanee Social's wine list is built for accessibility, not adventure — and within that lane, it mostly delivers. Fair pricing, an exceptional by-the-glass count, and the Albariño and Cava as genuine bright spots make this a comfortable neighborhood pick. Just don't come here expecting a list that matches the ambition of the cuisine.

Don Quixote gets more right than wrong: fair prices, a by-the-glass program that actually rewards exploration, and enough Spanish DNA in the list to feel intentional. Trim the grocery-store filler, lean harder into the Iberian producers, and this list goes from solid to genuinely exciting. For now, it's a reliable neighborhood find worth a visit — just order the Albariño or the Cava and let the small plates do the rest.

Blackjack Bar Tapas runs one of the smallest wine lists we've come across in Atlanta, but it's hard to fully roast it — the four picks are genuinely considered. The markups are a little stiff across the board, and if you're hoping for a Spanish red to wash down your tapas, you're out of luck. But if you want a glass of zero-dosage Cava or an Oregon Pinot Gris at a bar that clearly has a point of view, this list delivers more than it has any right to.

AltaToro isn't here to impress wine nerds, but it's not ignoring them either. The Iberian focus is real, the glass count is generous, and the pricing is honest enough that you won't feel taxed for drinking well. Send a friend here who wants wine that actually fits the food — just don't send them expecting a deep cellar.
