The wine list at The Den is exactly what you'd expect to find laminated inside a hotel room service binder — four options, flat $11 pricing, and the quiet confidence of a place that knows you're not going anywhere else tonight. It's not a wine program. It's a wine acknowledgment.
Four labels. That's the whole list. Bogle and Woodbridge are the workhorses of supermarket shelves everywhere, and somehow they've landed here as the entire wine identity of this hotel bar. Bogle makes perfectly drinkable California juice — Cab, Merlot, Pinot — but you can buy a full bottle at Trader Joe's for less than one glass costs here. Woodbridge Chardonnay is the Chardonnay equivalent of a shrug emoji. There are no regions to explore, no producers to discover, no depth to speak of.
All four wines are by the glass, which is the whole program — so at least there's no bottle list to disappoint you further. Every pour is $11, which is a tough sell for Bogle and Woodbridge when retail sits well under $15 a bottle. Rotation is not a concept this list has encountered.
The Bottom Line
The Den is a hotel bar doing the bare minimum on wine, and it shows. Order a cocktail, grab a beer, or pick up a bottle from the grocery store down the street before you check in.

Romano's Macaroni Grill isn't trying to be a wine destination, and the list makes no attempt to pretend otherwise. Order a $4 house red, enjoy the pasta, and save your wine curiosity for somewhere that earned it.

Nine-Ten is a genuinely good restaurant with a competent wine program — the sommelier is present, the list is legitimate, and the setting earns the price of admission. But the markups are aggressive enough that you'll want to be selective, because this list can eat your wallet if you reach for the obvious names.

BBellevue is the rare hotel bar that makes a real effort with wine, and it shows in the curation — Pacific Northwest producers, an orange pét-nat, and a Nebbiolo that shouldn't be this affordable. Markups are steep in places and the list won't change your life, but for a lobby bar in Bellevue, this is genuinely worth a stop.
