Wingman Metrics
Eight wines. That's the whole list. At a gastropub with a full kitchen and a bar in the name, that's not a wine program — that's a wine afterthought. The selection reads like someone grabbed whatever was on the distributor's introductory tier and called it a day.
The list leans heavily on accessible, mass-market labels: Kendall Jackson Vintners Reserve is the most recognizable name here, and it's doing a lot of heavy lifting as the token 'serious' wine. Carson Scott Pinot Noir and Lapis Luna Red Blend fill the red slots without much adventure, while Moko Black Sauvignon Blanc is the one bottle that hints at actual taste — it's a decent New Zealand SB that punches above its price point. The white side mirrors the same approach: Campanile Pinot Grigio and Two Birds One Stone White Blend are crowd-pleasing and forgettable. No Old World representation, no variety in region or style, and zero ambition beyond checking the basic wine boxes.
By-the-glass specifics aren't published, so we can't tell you what's being poured or at what price. With only eight labels on the list, it's safe to assume the glass program is similarly slim. Don't come here expecting a by-the-glass rotation that surprises you.
The Bottom Line
Ate Track is a bar first, and the wine list makes that abundantly clear. Eight labels with no pricing transparency and no visible effort to curate anything beyond the basics isn't a wine program — it's a liability hedge. If you're here for the bar scene, great. If you care about wine, order a cocktail and revisit the question.

The City Cellar & Loft is a solid neighborhood restaurant where the wine list is genuinely the supporting act — the bourbon pork chops and mushroom truffle ravioli are doing the heavy lifting. If you come in expecting a curated wine experience, you'll be underwhelmed; if you come in wanting a good meal with a decent glass in hand, you'll leave happy. Send a friend here for dinner, not for the wine program.

Appalachian Grill's wine list won't win any awards, but it's a thoughtful little collection for a town where the alternative is usually whatever's in the gas station cooler. If you're in Cartersville and want a solid glass of wine with your dinner, this list won't let you down — just don't arrive expecting a deep cellar.

Largos is doing more with wine than most casual New American spots in a mid-size Georgia city, and the by-the-glass breadth gives almost every diner a workable option. The markups skew steep — especially on the bigger bottles — so lean toward the by-the-glass program, grab the Benton Lane Pinot, and don't overthink it. Worth ordering wine here; just don't order the Santa Margherita.

Top Dawg Tavern is almost certainly a fine place for a beer and a burger — but the wine list is an afterthought dressed up as a menu section. With no pricing transparency, no interesting producers, and a roster pulled straight from the grocery store middle shelf, there's nothing here to get excited about. Order a craft beer, skip the wine list entirely, and come back when they give it some love.

Meat N Greet isn't trying to be a wine destination, and the list makes that clear — but within a nine-bottle program, the pricing is fair and there are a couple of genuinely good producers tucked in. If you're in Newnan and want a glass of something decent without overthinking it, this works. Just go straight for the Loosen.

Good Word is a brewery that built a wine list with actual intention, and that's rarer than it should be. We can't speak to pricing or glass pours without more data, but the selection itself — Vinho Verde, Mosel Riesling, Languedoc Chardonnay, Argentine blends, two Cavas — is the work of someone who wanted wine drinkers to feel welcome at a beer place. If you're the wine person in a beer-drinking group, Good Word has you covered.
